• At least two (2) years' relevant lecturing experience at tertiary level or five (5) years’ recent relevant experience in teaching English Home Language at school level 
• A relevant teaching qualification
• Knowledge, understanding and experience in the preparation and evaluation of meaningful teaching experiences for Intermediate- and Foundation Phase students
• Experience and knowledge of support and differentiated teaching for learners experiencing barriers to learning related to Language
• Ability to teach using a hybrid approach involving both on-campus and online methods.
