    Electrical Engineer Intern

    Responsibilities:

    The successful candidates will be responsible for the following: Key performance areas:

    • Taking Part in implementation of APSYS Quality Roadmap.
    • Taking Part in Zero Defect Program initiatives.
    • Ensuring that internal and customer quality requirements are maintained
    • Communicating and maintaining the required quality standards to other functions
    • Promote and uphold the quality key points, quality standards.
    • Industrial Quality records/documentation management.
    • Inspecting of goods, components and sub assembles received, ensuring all quality issues are identified, reported, and resolved promptly when required.
    • Ensuring that all quality issues are identified, communicated, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner
    • Taking part in corrective action meetings and activities, defect alerts quality circles
    • The above performance areas will be fulfilled in consideration of the student’s experiential training requirements where applicable.

    Qualification, Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

    • S4 Subjects completed, Electrical
    • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 advantageous
    • Knowledge of quality improvement processes / quality control / Assurance systems & procedures advantageous

    Facility Administrator

    Purpose of the Job

    The Facility Administrator is to provide general support and administrative services for the following supporting departments: Facility Dept, Capex Dept, Industrial Maintenance Dept, PME Dept.

    Key responsibilities include the following:

    • Creation of general (soft service) technical specifications
    • Creation of PR’s on SAP system
    • Tracking of PO creation through SAP system and liaising with Indirect Sourcing
    • Requesting of customer statements and processing of Invoices
    • Closing out of PO’s and ensuring compliance
    • Daily monitoring of PR / PO approval status.
    • Management of department stationery and consumables
    • Management and control of travel arrangements / bookings as and when required
    • General assistance in minute taking (scribing)
    • General assistance in document controlling, filing, printing and the like Hands-on practical experience & knowledge of facilities and maintenance management in a complex environment
    • Above average practical experience & knowledge of procurement / sourcing processes
    • Hands-on practical experience & knowledge & understanding of ERP systems (SAP)
    • Proven background in administrative management.
    • Proactive and driven personality with a friendly approach
    • Willingness to learn and commitment to deliver
    • Good time management skills.
    • Ability to be a self-starter – solutions driven approach to resolve problems quickly.

    Requirements:

    • Matric (Grade 12)
    • Administration/Secretary basic qualification.
    • 2-3 years ERP (SAP or similar) exposure preferably
    • Experience: 2-3 years of facility management, maintenance management, manufacturing experience in an industrial or operational environment.
