    Human Resources Manager

    n this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the development and maintenance of a working environment that is conducive to the acquisition, development, and retention of the right people with the right skills and competencies enabling the Complex to deliver its business objectives.

    Key areas of responsibility include:

    • Planning, organising, leading and controlling all Complex Human Resources related activities and liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
    • Providing guidance and support to the Complex Management team and Human Resources Practitioners, including Learning and Development Practitioners.
    • Driving the transformation agenda for the Complex in line with the Group strategies, legislation and the Complex Social and Labour Plan.

    About you:

    To be considered for this role, you will meet the following minimum requirements:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Relevant tertiary qualification (Human Resources/Social Sciences/Human Resource Development).
    • An Honours degree and business qualification are an added advantage.

    Minimum Experience:

    • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Human Resources, 4 of which should be in a D-level HR role, with strong generalist experience across all aspects of HR, as well as a good understanding of Learning and Development.
    • Understanding of legislative requirements, internal HR Standards, Policies and Procedures as well as their application.

    Behavioural Competencies:

    • Ability to build long term trust relationships by displaying empathy and understanding of others’ viewpoints and needs.
    • Ability to take the lead, setting objectives, sequencing processes/initiatives/projects and organising resources to manage risk and achieve objectives.
    • Ability to take decisive action and assume responsibility for making difficult decisions that affect people and business performance.

    Rotable Officer

    The incumbent in this role is responsible for managing the rotable repair process in a reliable and cost-effective manner and manage the store and keep stock levels up as required.

    In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Ensuring the accuracy, completeness and validity of all goods and materials received in the Rotable Stores.
    • Ensuring that all documents are saved.
    • Stock counting.
    • Supervising, developing, planning, organising and allocating duties to subordinates.
    • Complying with emergency preparedness, safety requirements, Planned Task Observations and reporting incidents.
    • Maintaining good housekeeping in area of responsibility.

     

    About you:

    To be considered for this role, you will meet the following minimum requirements:

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Either a N4 Certificate with Engineering Subjects, Valid Trade Certificate (Diesel Mechanic/Fitter/Electrician) and a minimum of 3 Years’ experience as an Artisan/Rotables Material Controller ; OR
    • A relevant Tertiary Qualification and a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
    • Driver’s license Code EB (08).

    • Ability to maintain high levels of individual and team performance by driving the achievement of goals, targets and financial objectives.
    • Ability to adhere to rules and regulations, follow instructions and limit risks of non-compliance to the business.
    • Ability to encourage and develop others to pro-actively build talent capacity and create opportunities to address current and future development needs.
    • Ability to create shared meaning by clearly and confidently communicating the relevant information to a decision or task, in a verbal format.
