    Human Resources Manager

    n this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the development and maintenance of a working environment that is conducive to the acquisition, development, and retention of the right people with the right skills and competencies enabling the Complex to deliver its business objectives.

    Key areas of responsibility include:

    • Planning, organising, leading and controlling all Complex Human Resources related activities and liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
    • Providing guidance and support to the Complex Management team and Human Resources Practitioners, including Learning and Development Practitioners.
    • Driving the transformation agenda for the Complex in line with the Group strategies, legislation and the Complex Social and Labour Plan.

    About you:

    To be considered for this role, you will meet the following minimum requirements:

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Relevant tertiary qualification (Human Resources/Social Sciences/Human Resource Development).
    • An Honours degree and business qualification are an added advantage.

    Minimum Experience:

    • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Human Resources, 4 of which should be in a D-level HR role, with strong generalist experience across all aspects of HR, as well as a good understanding of Learning and Development.
    • Understanding of legislative requirements, internal HR Standards, Policies and Procedures as well as their application.

    Behavioural Competencies:

    • Ability to build long term trust relationships by displaying empathy and understanding of others’ viewpoints and needs.
    • Ability to take the lead, setting objectives, sequencing processes/initiatives/projects and organising resources to manage risk and achieve objectives.
    • Ability to take decisive action and assume responsibility for making difficult decisions that affect people and business performance.
