    Marketing Content Creator Internship

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a creative and motivated Video Content Creator Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand's objectives and engages our target audience. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in video production, storytelling, and digital marketing within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

    Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

    • Video Production: Assist in the planning, shooting, and editing of various video content, including but not limited to promotional videos, social media clips, interviews, tutorials, and event coverage.
    • Scriptwriting: Collaborate with the content team to develop engaging video scripts that effectively convey our brand message and meet the content strategy goals.
    • Storyboarding: Assist in creating storyboards and shot lists to visualize and organize video concepts before production.
    • Video Editing: Use video editing software to cut, trim, and assemble video footage, add effects, transitions, and graphics to produce high-quality and visually appealing videos.
    • Post-Production: Help with tasks such as audio mixing, colour correction, and adding background music or voiceovers to enhance the overall video quality.

    eLearning Content Developer & Administrator Support Internship - 12 month contract

    Job Description

    As a secondary role, this person will support our eLearning Administrators in taking care of the operational performance of our Learner Management System (LMS) as well as offering assistance to the trainers within the OUTsurance Learning Academy.
    This person must gain an in-depth knowledge of our LMS, be able to identify and solve system-related anomalies and create efficiencies within the environment.

    Take note to qualify for an INSETA Internship program you need to:

    • Be a South African citizen
    • Not previously being part of an internship/learnership with INSETA
    • Be between the ages of 18 & 35
    • Unemployed in the last 2 months

    Qualifications

    • Matric
    • BIS Multimedia / BA Graphic Design or similar

    Exposure to one or more of the below disciplines will be beneficial:

    • Graphic design
    • Instructional design
    • Video animation and editing
    • Audio and video production

    Exposure to coding using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript will be highly beneficial but is not compulsory

    Responsibilities:

    • Engage in the learning material development process, including deliverables, sign-offs, and timelines
    • Design and develop online learning content using applicable software
    • Design and develop mailers, infographics, and internal communication content using applicable software
    • Deal with technical support calls/emails/queries from stakeholders and trainers 
    • Provide first-line support on LMS concerns and user issues by logging and managing cases on the applicable platform.
    • Reporting on usage and statistics
    • Test and quality assure content on the LMS
    • Maintain the LMS procedure document
    • Manage and maintain the social component of the LMS
    • Explore trends in mobile learning and build on the adoption of this feature
    • Investigate the LMS, and suggest improvements that will reduce manual tasks
    • Ensure trainers’ LMS knowledge and skill is up to date based on new findings within the LMS

    Assist Academy trainers by:

    • Uploading and updating course material and assessments to the LMS
    • Creating and managing classes on the LMS, as well as daily attendance rostering
    • Creating, monitoring, and drawing online surveys/feedback forms
    • Manually uploading results to the LMS
    • Conduct per-question trend analysis
    • Providing support during virtual classroom sessions

    This list is not exhaustive and is a guideline. This person will be expected to undertake any additional tasks which are deemed to be fair and reasonable and fall within the scope of the Learning and eLearning Academy.
