KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

The incumbent of this position will fulfill the necessary requirements within the Finance Division, to Lead the Organization in Cost Management by providing the necessary information/guidance to Senior Management (Manufacturing & Finance) IRO decision making, tracking, reducing & achieving the Labour and Overhead costs.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Budgeting/Planning/Forecasting:

• Co-ordinate and manage annual Budget. Evaluate monthly Income Statement and Forecast highlighting to Management areas of major concerns

Reporting:

• Report on the monthly variance analysis to the Plant with a view to challenge and improve performance against Budgets & Targets. Manage & exploit ERP systems to maximize accurate and efficient reporting

Cost Reduction:

• Initiate & promote cost down awareness within Production. Track and report progress on a monthly basis.

Peoples Development:

• Lead and coach the Finance – Production team, ensuring that they receive the necessary training and facilities to fulfill their roles within the team.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• NQF6 – Accounting Qualification – Preferably Managerial Accounting
• Demonstrate a high level of experience in working with ERP Systems.
• Advanced computer literacy (Essential) Power BI, Excel and Power Point
• Managerial accounting experience (5 Years).
• Good business acumen (Essential).
• Staff Managerial experience of a team is essential (3 Years).
• Strong Project management experience.
• Must be able to demonstrate good Management & Leadership Skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate exceptional Communication and Presentation Skills
