Job Objectives:

Receiving Stock

• Offload stock from trucks into stock receiving bay
• Move stock from receiving bay to staging area

Put Away

• Move stock from receiving bay into relevant PND area (aisle location) based on the prompt from the warehouse scanner
• Collect stock from PND based on prompt from the scanner and take it to the relevant location. Scan location and off load to the location and confirm quantity of boxes off loaded to the scanner

Collecting stock for orders or replenishment

• Receive a prompt on the scanner to collect stock
• Retrieve stock from relevant location by scanning the bin location and entering the quantity of boxes
• Take stock to relevant PND area and scan the location to close off the request on the system
• Move stock from PND location to stock staging area

Truck Maintenance

• Ensure that vehicles, machinery and equipment is well maintained and fit for purpose

Health and Safety

• Responsible for ensuring that health and safety policies are adhered to

Housekeeping

• Apply basic housekeeping principles to ensure the workstation is tidy

Qualifications and Experience:

• NQF 4 – Matric or equivalent
• 1-2 years’ experience as a Reach Truck/ Forklift/ Power Pallet Truck/ Turret Truck Driver (Essential)
• 3-4 years’ experience as a Reach Truck/ Forklift/ Power Pallet Truck/ Turret Truck Driver (Desirable)
