    Sales Administrator - Maternity Cover

    Primary Responsibilities Include:

    • Help the Sales and marketing team to improve their productivity by contacting customers to arrange appointments and ensuring all Sales and Marketing team members have high-quality, up-to-date support material.
    • Handle urgent calls, emails, and messages when Sales and Marketing team members are unavailable and answering customer queries.
    • Manage all site inspection requests and complete necessary paper work.
    • Assist with & maintain an efficient administration system within the department.
    • Maintain and ensure regular update of the team’s customer database as well as all incoming guest queries
    • Assist with maintaining a data base of relevant Media and Influencer details, ensuring it is current and up to date.
    • Update site inspections and stay-overs, create profiles, and remind team members to log sales activities.
    • Check stock levels for stationery, business cards, dry goods, milk, soap, sponges, maps, and activity cards. Order via Workday.
    • Check gifting requirements for upcoming tradeshows and travel, maintain a gifting log, and order gifts as needed.

    Requirements

    What You Bring:

    • Good knowledge of local hotel business and operations as well as the nature of the travel trade and its requirements.
    • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
    • Excellent sales and customer service skills.
    • High degree of computer literacy.

    Belmond Travel Advisor

    Primary Responsibilities Include:

    • Be skilled across the full Belmond portfolio of products and be able to manage any guest/customer query
    • Meet SLA targets such as response times, case/queue management and case classification accuracy in Salesforce Omnichannel
    • Meet assigned conversion targets ensuring we convert on as many sales opportunities as possible
    • Working within provided guidelines suggest perks or enhance opportunities for our most loyal Guests.
    • Meet and exceed targets set for data capture and complete profiles at time of reservation and prior to stay arrival.
    • Treat every booking, rate and availability enquiry that comes into the queue as an opportunity to
    • convert on a sale. Respond to these in a timely manner and proactively follow up until the case is fully resolved

    Requirements

    What You Bring:

    • 2 years’ experience in Front Office or Reservations or customer service role.
    • Excellent telephone etiquette and verbal communication skills.
    • Execellent organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
    • Excellent computer proficiency and email communication skills.
    • Ability to work without supervision.
    • Exceptional Customer service skills.
