    Senior Operations Manager - Midrand

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Finance Diploma

    Compliance Officer - Durban North


    Qualifications:

    • 5-7 years’ experience in a FAIS and AML/CFT role in a banking sector
    • Legal/finance qualification a degree required.  

    Skills:

    • In -depth knowledge of the FIC Act including all subordinate legislation and FAIS Act including all subordinate legislation is essential

    Job description:

    • Updating and managing SWIFT KYC Registry
    • Regularly review the Compliance Monitor’s functioning, quality of commentary and timeliness of clearing
    • Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly reports to management on STR/SARS filled, high  risk accounts, frozen accounts and the compliance monitors
    • Reviewing and closing of transaction monitors
    • Reviewing and closing of transaction monitors
    • Review and approve Re-KYC of high risk accounts and the EDD review memos
    • Review and recommend for approval the opening of all high risk accounts and reporting thereof
    • Conduct investigations and file STRs/SARS to FIC on the gloaml platform
    • Assist in managing all projects relating to the reporting to the FIC
    • Assist in filling of cash threshold reports to the FIC on the goaml platform.
    • Conduct compliance monitoring and testing, including providing recommendations and actions plans
    • Conduct compliance training as per the compliance training plan,when required
    • Guide and advise branches on AML/CFT and FAIS requirements

    • Assist with annual budgeting process for group, to set targets and monitoring throughout the year
    • Review budgeted fees and expenses for variances and resolve where necessary
    • Assist with preparation f monthly management accounts

    • Minimum 3 + years of post-article experience
    • Full finance function up to Management Accounts and Financial Statements
