    Condition Monitoring Technician - Klipfontein

    Job Specification (Not totally inclusive)

    • Be competent to perform all Condition Monitoring duties on site;
    • Know the correct and safe oil sampling procedure as per mine/Joy standards;
    • Know the correct and safe procedure to collect vibration data on site;
    • Sound knowledge of vibration data collection and the functions of the data logger used to collect data;
    • Be able to interpret vibration levels on-site to give feedback to vibration analyst for proper vibration analysis;
    • Sound knowledge of machines tested on-site observations to be done and reported to vibration analyst;
    • Capture field data and interpret as required;
    • Assist line personnel in trouble shooting off highlighted problems;
    • Ensure the use of condition monitoring to eradicate the problem;
    • Understanding of equipment and analytical trouble shooting techniques;
    • Understanding of applicability in the section of mine standards and procedures;
    • Ensure that site work (Service Delivery Documents) is booked in on completion of job done within 24hours;
    • Understanding of Joy orders and invoicing procedures.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    Minimum skills and experience required

    • Grade 12 or N3;
    • Qualified artisan Mechanical/Electrical with experience on Joy machinery will be an added advantage.
    • One year condition monitoring experience;
    • MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint;
    • Basic Vibration analysis;
    • Basic Oil analysis.

    Project Manager - Wadeville

    Job Specification

    • To ensure that each project has a clear and detailed scope of work (SOW) and that it is conducted timeously as per company processes.
    • To obtain clear specifications and build instructions for OE (Original Equipment), Rebuilds and Interventions.
    • To initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control and close all projects whilst adhering strictly to the parameters of time, quality, and cost.
    • To create a detailed project schedule for all projects and to ensure signoff and commitment to the schedule by all key stakeholders.
    • To plan, lead, organize, coordinate, and execute according to the master build plan.
    • To ensure on time delivery (OTD) of projects at the right cost and quality, and to manage customer expectations (both internal and external).
    • Must be willing to execute ad hoc tasks allocated by the Senior Project Manager as well as other Managers.
    • To build a healthy working relationship with all internal and external customers as well as project stakeholders.
    • To always adhere to KMC and mine safety rules and regulations.
    • To perform project integration, scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management as per Project Management best practices.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • Must possess a Degree/Diploma (Technical, Operations, or Engineering) and/or similar qualification at a similar level.
    • Project Management certification (e.g. CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2) or similar post graduate qualification relevant to job function.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Project management with experience managing large projects valued at R10M – R50M in value.
    • ERP (SAP) software knowledge and work experience is required in order to effectively manage projects.
    • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes or heavy-duty equipment manufacturing in a complex environment.
    • Knowledge of Underground Mining Products and Manufacture thereof would be advantageous.
    • Knowledge of Komatsu processes and procedures would be advantageous.
    • Must be at an advanced level in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in MS Projects, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
    • Valid driver’s license with own transport.
    • Must be willing to work extended hours when required.
    • Must be willing to travel when required.

    Human Resources Officer - Wadeville

    Job Specification (not totally inclusive)

    • Managing recruitment effort and job placement for all levels of employment including permanent and temporary labour, internal and external candidate;
    • Guiding line managers in developing job descriptions for their subordinates and liaise with Compensation  and Benefits department in ensuring that positions are analyzed and evaluated;
    • In partnership with the business required to develop interview formats based on relevant job profiles and to conduct interviews using the appropriate interviewing skills and techniques;
    • Providing Employee Relations guidance and support to employees and  Business unit/ line managers;
    • Responsible for assisting line management in establishing and maintaining harmonious working relationships with organized labour;
    • In partnership with Learning & Development department, identity training needs for employees and ensure that training interventions are executed efficiently;
    • In consultation with Learning and Development department ensures that learning and development is linked to performance and ensuring that employees have IDP’S;
    • Responsible for providing a consulting service to line management to give professional guidance about the management of the performance of their direct reports;  and
    • Assisting line management in identifying risks to ensure that employee well-being (including emotional and mental well-being) is maximized thus ensuring optimal job performance as well as job satisfaction.

    Minimum Skills required.

    • Grade 12;
    • Bachelor’s degree/National Diploma in Human Resource Management or related field;
    • Must have at least 5 years Human Resources experience; in a unionized manufacturing environment;
    • HR administration forms part of this role, an incumbent  must be proven to be consultative in partnering with management in their day-to-day interactions;
    • Must have sound understanding of employment laws and application of HR practices;
    • Knowledge of SuccessFactors and Kronos system would be an added advantage;
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suit  ( especially Excel and PowerPoint); and
    • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
