    Manager, Talent & Development

    You will join a team of people professionals who are passionate about driving high engagement, growth, and performance at Metso. Our current agenda includes topics like Leadership and Talent Development, Learning, and Diversity & Inclusion – among others.
     
    We collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, such as our regional Talent Development, Talent Acquisition teams, and global People Operations Development team responsible for our HR technologies. Our team culture is all about customer centricity, high ambition and impact, collaboration, and inclusion. The members of global Talent & Development team are located in Espoo, Finland, but the stakeholders are based across the world.

    What you'll do

    • As a global process owner for the engagement survey process, you plan, develop and coordinate the global survey process as well as analyze and provide insight on the results for the leadership teams
    • You'll contribute to global Talent Acquisition (TA) development by working closely with the global TA community to drive selected development projects to strengthen employee experience, improve efficiencies and add business value 
    • Close collaboration with regional TA teams to gather feedback and input for the global development and shaping the global process
    • Work closely with People Operations Development colleague(s)  to make sure we utilize People tools in the best possible way to add business value

    Who you are

    • You have proven ability to manage HR projects and take responsibility effectively
    • You have previous experience and understanding of Talent Acquisition processes, tools and ways of working 
    • You are able to manage the big picture, find out and summarize the most important information 
    • In addition to a general understanding of how HR systems work, previous experience with SuccessFactors recruiting and Workday Peakon is seen as an asset
    • You are curious-minded, want to analyze and seek answers 
    • You have a growth-mindset and willing to learn and develop yourself

    Internal Sales Account Manager

    JOB STATEMENT

    Build and maintain active long-term relationship with key decision makers at customer site level and continuously promote Metso ’s value adding offering. Create a healthy business with high customer satisfaction with the site account

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible to deliver profitable business growth from allocated sites
    • Responsibility to create the relationship with the key people at the site and share those with the organization, connecting key interfaces
    • Focuses on after-market business, yet is able to identify the investment/capex opportunities and is responsible to convey the customer requirement to capex sales
    • Plans and has full visibility to the activities of any Metso function at the site
    • Seeks and coordinates for best resources and channels to be used for customer facing activities
    • Understands customer business and is capable to argue Metso Outotec’s added value
    • Drives site sales activities together with cross organizational site account team and understands customer’s Capex and Opex related decisions and buying timetable
    • Drives account planning and implementation (strategy, relationship, site level budgeting activity plan, sales roadmap and plan)
    • Maintains and shares information of installed base, performance and shutdown schedules and plan
    • Orchestrates customer satisfaction surveys and closed loop activities and ensures continuous improvement activities
    • Supports Accounts Receivable and payment collections
    • Active member of the Market Area Key Account/Global Key Account team
    • Owns order intake, sales margin for the allocated site accounts
    • Vetoes, site level activity planning and global/Market Area account planning

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • Matric (Grade 12)
    • Bachelors’ Degree – B Eng preferred
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Sales or Account Management
    • Sales experience in similar industry will be advantageous
    • Experience working in a customer-focused and fast-paced professional environment
    • Computer literate in Sales Force, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust

    • Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions
    • Good interpersonal, communication, presentation & facilitation skills
    • Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
