    • Analyse equipment breakdowns and coordinate with the Fleet Coordinator to ensure prompt repair and preventative maintenance to maximize the availability of all heavy machinery.  Order and maintain adequate inventory of tools, supplies and machinery for continuous operations.  assist management in the preparation of the budget by providing input on needed materials, tools and equipment replacement schedule.
    • Customer Service and Public Assistance: Assist the public with guidance related to recycling and proper waste disposal methods.  Respond to inquiries from the public regarding waste disposal, recycling and site hours. Educate users on the proper disposal of different materials to minimize contamination and ensure compliance.
    • Receive landfill sites and transfer stations waste complaints and issue work orders to teams accordingly. Compliance, Safety and Reporting: To ensure that daily operations comply with licence conditions and other applicable legislations and regulations. Upload monthly waste data volumes received at operational landfill sites on Gauteng Waste Information System (GWIS).  
    • Develop, promote and strictly enforce safety practices and procedures for all personnel and public users. This includes conducting safety training and investigating accidents. Investigate and report disposal of hazardous, medical, and other illegal dumping at landfill sites and transfer stations. Planning and investigating all aspects of services to be rendered daily.
