    Content and Digital Marketing Executive

    Key Responsibilities:

    Social Media Strategy Development & Execution:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
    • Identify target audiences and optimize strategies to increase engagement, followers, and reach.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure campaigns align with broader marketing efforts.

    Content Creation & Curation:

    • Develop visually compelling and engaging video contents using mobile phone for digital platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
    • Create, edit, and schedule content that is engaging, on-brand, and optimized for specific platforms.
    • Manage a content calendar that balances promotional, educational, and community-centric posts.
    • Ensure content is engaging, relevant, and aligned with the company’s brand voice and messaging and speaks to our retailers, distributors and manufacturers.

    Social Media Management:

    • Oversee the company’s social media presence, creating and scheduling posts that drive engagement and brand awareness.
    • Monitor social media channels for customer inquiries and feedback.

    Brand Voice & Consistency:

    • Ensure that all communications and social media efforts reflect the brand’s voice and personality.
    • Develop and enforce community guidelines and ensure adherence to company policies and social media regulations.

    Community Engagement & Management:

    • Monitor all social media platforms, responding to comments, questions, and messages in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
    • Foster and grow an online community by engaging followers and developing creative initiatives to keep users active.
    • Manage relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and user-generated content contributors.

    Collaboration & Campaigns:

    • Work closely with the marketing and content teams to develop integrated campaigns that utilize both organic and paid social media.
    • Partner with internal teams (e.g., customer service, product) to provide insights into customer feedback or issues highlighted on social media.

    Crisis Management:

    • Respond to and manage any online crises or negative feedback in a professional and timely manner.
    • Prepare contingency plans for potential negative press or backlash online.

    Trend Monitoring & Innovation:

    • Stay up to date on the latest digital and social media trends, tools, and best practices, adapting strategies as needed.
    • Proactively suggest new ideas and innovative ways to engage with the online community.

    Social Listening & Analytics:

    • Use social listening tools to monitor brand mentions and conversations relevant to Red101, RedPay and Digital Payments.
    • Track, analyse, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including engagement, reach, and conversion metrics.
    • Provide recommendations for improvements based on data insights and performance.

    Email Marketing:

    • Design and implement email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and engage existing customers.
    • Segment email lists and personalize communications to maximize effectiveness.

    Analytics and Reporting:

    • Track and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics and other marketing software.
    • Prepare regular reports on campaign performance, website traffic, and lead generation. 

    Lead Generation:

    • Develop and execute strategies to generate and nurture leads through various digital channels.
    • Work closely with the sales team to ensure leads are effectively followed up and converted.

    Key Requirements:

    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing social media accounts and online communities.
    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies.
    • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
    • Experience in the South African market is preferred, with an understanding of the local social media landscape.

    Field Operations Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    Go To Market Execution:

    • Oversee the deployment and management of FAOs who engage FMCG retailers to drive digital adoption of our app.
    • Strategically deploy and realign FAO resources based on the evolving customer acquisition and expansion strategy.
    • Ensure that FAOs are optimally placed to target high-potential markets and customer segments, adjusting deployment in response to market feedback and performance data.
    • Continuously evaluate market opportunities and redeploy FAO resources to capitalize on new growth areas.

    Productivity Optimization:

    • Utilize the RedTAG application to monitor and enhance the daily productivity of FAOs, capturing real-time insights and market intelligence.
    • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and streamline processes for FAOs.
    • Leverage real-time insights and market intelligence captured through RedTAG to inform strategic decisions and adapt GTM strategies.
    • Provide regular feedback to product and marketing teams to ensure the app and associated services meet market needs.

    Performance Management:

    • Develop and manage a Relative Scorecard system to drive performance management and incentives for FAOs, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
    • Regularly assess and adjust performance metrics to reflect changing market conditions and company priorities.

    P&L Management & Cost Optimization:

    • Manage the FAO structure like a P&L, being responsible for budgeting, cost management, and resource allocation.
    • Optimize the deployment and realignment of FAOs based on customer acquisition and expansion strategy, ensuring cost-effective operations.
    • Analyze the financial impact of FAO deployment decisions and adjust strategies to maximize ROI while minimizing costs.

    Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations, to ensure alignment with GTM strategy and execution.
    • Engage with regional leadership to understand market-specific challenges and tailor strategies accordingly.

    Requirements:      

    • At least 6-8 years of experience in Go-To-Market strategy, sales management, or field operations, preferably in the FMCG or e-commerce sectors.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred
    • Extensive experience working in or managing teams in emerging markets, particularly in Africa 
    • Proven track record of driving successful adoption of digital products or managing Market activation and engagement strategies.
    • Experience in P&L management, budgeting, and cost optimization within a large-scale field operations context.
    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on improving productivity, performance tracking, and cost control.
    • Proficiency in using data and analytics tools (SFAs and CRMs) to monitor productivity, manage costs, and drive operational efficiency.
    • Strong understanding of emerging market dynamics, particularly in the FMCG sector.
    • Results-driven with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and driving business growth.
    • Culturally sensitive and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in diverse and dynamic environments.
    • Innovative and proactive, with a hands-on approach to execution excellence.

    Associate Vice President of Logistics

    Responsibilities:

    Core Logistics Strategy Development:

    • Define and implement a centralized logistics strategy to optimize operations across all markets, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
    • Identify key logistics challenges specific to FMCG distribution in emerging markets, and develop innovative solutions to address them.
    • Develop logistics service delivery models that drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence, focusing on the unique needs of local markets.

    Partner Acquisition and Management:

    • Lead the acquisition of logistics partners, including carriers, warehouses, and third-party providers, ensuring reliable and cost-effective solutions.
    • Negotiate contracts and partnership agreements to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms for the company.
    • Build long-term relationships with logistics providers to ensure seamless service delivery and capacity for scaling operations.

    Performance Management & KPI Delivery:

    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall performance of logistics operations.
    • Implement data-driven processes to continuously improve logistics performance, optimize costs, and meet delivery timelines.
    • Ensure consistent performance across regions, aligning logistics KPIs with overall company goals.

    P&L Ownership:

    • Own and manage the logistics department's P&L, ensuring profitability through cost control, operational efficiency, and revenue generation.
    • Drive initiatives that enhance the financial performance of the logistics function while maintaining high service standards.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Finance, to ensure alignment with company financial goals.

    Operational Excellence and Process Improvement:

    • Develop and implement best practices for logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods, minimal transit times, and cost reductions.
    • Leverage technology and data analytics to optimize route planning, warehousing, and inventory management.

    Collaboration and Leadership:

    • Collaborate with regional logistics heads to align local operations with the central logistics strategy.
    • Lead, mentor, and manage the central logistics team, fostering a high-performance culture and encouraging innovation.
    • Coordinate with product and operations teams to ensure logistics solutions support business growth and platform scalability

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 10-14 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
    • Solid financial acumen, with a proven track record of owning and managing a P&L.
    • Proven experience in creating and executing logistics strategies in emerging markets, particularly within the FMCG or ecommerce sector.
    • Strong understanding of logistics challenges and opportunities in developing markets, with experience working with third-party logistics providers.
    • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills with the ability to secure and maintain long-term partnerships.
    • Strong leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving performance.
    • Data-driven decision-making skills, with a focus on KPIs, process optimization, and cost-efficiency.
