    Site Commercial Manager

    Job Description

    • Stefanutti Stocks Inland is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Site Commercial Manager to join our team. The Site Commercial Manager is responsible for the entire commercial function on site, including contract administration, claims administration, dispute management, oversight of the quantity surveying function, subcontractor management, dealing with variations, and internal contract reporting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Contract administration - Guarantees, Insurances, Programme, Overseeing Recordkeeping
    • Claims administration - Compiling and tracking Early Warnings and Compensation Events.
    • Dispute Management – Notifying and compiling Dispute referrals.
    • Management of Quantity Surveying function – Ensuring timeous and optimized performance of all QS functions to ensure maximized revenue and cashflow control.
    • Subcontractor Management – Compiling and administering subcontracts.
    • Change Management – Ensure variations are compiled timeously and comprehensively.
    • Reporting – Assist with cost reports and other management reports/presentations.

    Job Requirements
    Minimum Requirements: 

    • B.Sc. (QS) or similar. 
    • 10-15 years’ experience in the construction industry (Roads and Earthworks/Civils)
    • NEC contract experience is essential.
    • CCS Candy/Buildsmart experience essential 
    • Sound knowledge of measurement standards 
    • Strong analytical thinking
    • High attention to detail
    • Reliable and precise output 
    • Ability to understand and accurately interpret the impact of complex contractual events.

    Senior Surveyor

    Job Description

    • Stefanutti Stocks Inland is currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all site surveying functions, including setting out of roads, earthworks, and civil works, monthly measurement of quantities, and quality control reporting. The role requires a self-sufficient professional capable of independently managing setting out and quantities while building strong client relationships and applying effective problem-solving skills on-site. A minimum of 15 years’ surveying experience in civil construction is required. Applicants with the relevant experience, skills, and drive to succeed will be favourably considered.

    Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of fundamental surveying principles
    • Perform surveying duties related to road construction projects
    • Apply basic road design principles where required
    • Carry out setting out, including batter boards (side slopes) and profiles
    • Conduct layer checks to ensure compliance with specifications
    • Complete month-end measurements accurately and timeously

    Job Requirements

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Engineering in Surveying, or a National Diploma in Surveying
    • Minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience in construction surveying
    • Proven experience in road construction, including horizontal and vertical alignments and basic road design
    • Competent in setting out road works using GPS and dumpy level
    • Experience in quantifying earthworks and layer works
    • Ability to carry out bridge setting out, as well as stormwater pipes and culvert setting out
    • Experience in managing and checking surveyors’ work
    • Strong computer skills, including Model Maker, Road Maker, Logger (advantage), and GPS Trimble systems

    Jnr User Support Technician

    Job Description

    • Stefanutti Stocks Inland is seeking a Junior User Support Technician to provide first-line IT support across the organisation. The role focuses on delivering effective Helpdesk and administrative support, ensuring accurate logging, diagnosis, and timely resolution of IT incidents and service requests in line with agreed SLAs. The successful candidate will support user account management, IT asset control, and documentation while working in a fast-paced support environment. The position is based at Head Office in Kempton Park and will include occasional travel to project sites as required.

    Key Responsibilities

    Helpdesk and First-Line Support

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related incidents and service requests
    • Log, categorise, prioritise, and update support tickets accurately within the Helpdesk system
    • Provide Level 1 troubleshooting for Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, printers, hardware, and basic networking issues
    • Resolve incidents within defined SLAs or escalate to second-line support when required
    • Deliver remote and on-site technical support to end users 

    User Administration

    • Create, modify, and disable user accounts in Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD)
    • Assign software licenses, access permissions, and security group memberships
    • Support onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure timely access provisioning and revocation

    Systems and Endpoint Support

    • Assist with preparation, configuration, and deployment of laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
    • Install and configure approved software and applications
    • Ensure endpoints receive operating system updates, patches, and security configurations
    • Perform routine checks on boardroom equipment, printers, and AV systems

    Asset and Documentation Management

    • Maintain accurate IT asset registers and inventory records
    • Track allocation, movement, and return of IT equipment
    • Create, update, and maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and user guides

    Security and Compliance

    • Adhere to POPIA and internal IT security policies and procedures
    • Enforce multi-factor authentication (MFA) and access controls
    • Identify, report, and escalate potential security incidents
    • Ensure correct data handling and secure disposal of IT equipment and information

    Continuous Improvement

    • Identify recurring incidents and recommend process or system improvements
    • Contribute to improving Helpdesk efficiency and service quality
    • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through ongoing learning
