    • Coordinate prioritisation of the IM portfolio between the various stakeholders (BU\CB and IM)

    • Track the value contribution and/or Programme objective(s) throughout value tracking lifecycle
    • Identify and mitigate IM Programme(s) and IM Portfolio risks and issues

    Project Management    

    • Support the planning and project management of key/ critical Corporate Events initiatives using event project management principles to align with the group corporate affairs strategy and enhance stakeholders' understanding of the Company’s priorities/key initiatives.
    • Assist in planning and executing all Corporate Events activities related to such key projects, including managing the design/production of collateral by service providers in partnership with the public relations and media team.
    • Engage and manage multiple stakeholders and service providers simultaneously to ensure seamless execution of events.
    • Ensure inclusivity of internal subject matter experts where relevant to enhance event quality and relevance.
    • Support the Corporate Events Lead in the supervision of the Practitioner to ensure effective execution of Corporate Events projects.
    • Collaborate with and support BU communication teams in executing Corporate Events initiatives at the BUs.
    • Assist in developing and managing the team's Corporate Events projects budget and oversee budget management for the function.

    • Support the lead in ensuring the prioritisation, inclusion, and empowerment of local communities in all event service delivery.
    • Support supply chain relationship management and negotiations under the Corporate Event Lead's direction.
    • Build and nurture relationships with suppliers and service providers for a strong base network and sourcing list on various projects or events.

    Minimum Requirements

    EXPERIENCE: 

    • 8-10 years Proven experience in performance management strategy development and implementation. Demonstrated ability in translating the business strategy to functional objectives. Experience in developing and implementing performance management systems across multiple businesses. Strong stakeholder engagement abilities across various levels to establish and foster partnerships across the business.     Duties & Responsibilities

    Compliance, Governance and Assurance    

    • Define governance frameworks, policies, systems, and methodologies for performance management
    • Develop and implement group policy and governance frameworks for Performance management and performance improvement initiatives
    • Ensure adherence to the Group governance, policies, and standards as well as statutory and legal compliance. Entrench a culture of discipline

    Financial Management    

    • Compile annual budget and continuously manage expenditure against budget.
    • Allocate and monitor utilisation of financial resources according to objectives and budgets
    • Monitor and report on expenditure of department against the budget.
    • Recommend and incorporate cost saving initiatives and budgets and controls expenditure within approved parameters.

    Functional Excellence    

    • Integrate inputs from all functions into the performance strategy to ensure the accurate cascading of objectives to each function to effectively measure and optimise performance through its linked sub- processes.
    • Identify and manage critical functional risks through appropriate mitigation plans/actions
    • Ensure that the executive and business stakeholders are aligned to the set strategic business objectives and targets
    • Create a compelling vision and direction for high performance organisation in the business supported by the reward policies
    • Define and reinforce the link between the Group, functional, operational goals and individual outputs, measures, and rewards.

    • Build capacity in the leadership team to understand that the performance management process informs other People and Performance processes such as career decisions, promotions, rewards, and dismissals.

    Monitoring and Evaluation    

    • Monitor the performance of the business and develop ways to communicate the impact at a functional level to create line of sight in the overall strategic contribution of the various areas.
    • Manage the Bi-annual performance appraisal process, ensuring consistency, fairness and alignment to business performance outcomes
    • Conduct reviews of performance assessments to identify trends and areas of potential improvement
    • Evaluate the performance of various teams and identify trends in leading teams to consolidate lessons learnt to map interventions to integrate behaviours into the high-performance culture

    Performance Management Strategy Development, best practice and knowledge management    

    • Develop and implement a robust performance management strategy aligned to the Reward strategy and the People and Performance strategy.
    • Establish the strategic and systematic process of performance management which entails outlining strategic business objectives, clear team goals aligned to business objectives and targets and facilitating ongoing feedback conversations.
    • Develop a performance management policy, framework, methodology and standards in line with best practice
    • Ensure strategy integration in functional objectives to overall business objectives, ensuring that all functions are aligned and contributing effectively to the business strategic objectives.
    • Develop a standardised process across the business to promote efficiency in the process.
    • Regularly assess the effectiveness of performance management and recommend amendments as required and provide guidance to leadership.
    • Develop clear and transparent communication strategies for performance management, educating employees on the process and its benefits.
    • Design performance management processes, ensuring fairness, transparency and employee engagement
    • Collaborate with the Chief Strategy Office on the development and cascading of organisational goals to Businesses and Functions
