    Receptionist

    R6,000 - R7,000 pm cost to company

    About the Position

    You will welcome all visitors in a professional and friendly manner before notifying the relevant staff member of their arrival. The responsibilities furthermore include answering a multi-line switchboard within the prescribed turn-around time and transferring the calls as accurately and efficiently as possible. General office administration will form part of the Receptionist day to day tasks.

    Required Skills:

    • Telephone Etiquette
    • Good listening skills
    • Reception Management
    • Assist Visitors
    • Answering Calls of a daily average of 50 incoming calls

    Required Work Experience

    • 2 to 5 years Switchboard / Reception
    • 2 to 5 years Investments and Insurance

    Required Qualifications

    • Grade 12 / Matric
    • Training in office management will be an advantage
    • Computer literate – Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Exposure to, or work experience within the Insurance sphere will be an advantage.
    • Must be able to speak English & Afrikaans

    Personal Assistant

    Salary: R85 000 CTC pa

    • Global & Local is looking for a highly capable person who can grow with the company in the role of Personal Assistant.
    • Minimum 3 years experience is required.
    • Candidates are required to supply all the relevant documentation with their applications.

    The incumbent will be required to be skilled in the following:

    • Microsoft office efficiency.
    • Telephone etiquette.
    • flexibility and adaptability.
    • Good oral and written communication skills.
    •  Ability to be proactive and take initiative.
    • Tact and diplomacy Attention to detail.
    • Working under pressure.
    • Extensive calendar management
    • Anticipating needs with minimal direction Coordination with other assistants to reconcile ever-changing calendars and avail abilities (team player!)
    • Manage private requests Corresponding with various internal and external stakeholders
    • Booking and coordinating door-to-door international and domestic travel Managing and submitting all expenses on a monthly basis
    • Accountable for general office administration duties as and when applicable.
    • Maintain a tidy and friendly working environment.
    • Receive the Executive's phone calls, screen calls, take messages and endeavor to Have those messages actioned. 
    • Be aware of the whereabouts of the MD at all times.
    • Set-up, co-ordinate and organise functions, meetings, events and conferences. 
    • Take minutes at meetings.
