The successful candidate will be responsible for providing holistic and optimal quality nursing care to critically ill patients in order to maximize a positive outcome for the customer in line with Company & Hospital strategic objectives.

    Critical Outputs
    To provide quality patient care by

    • Providing quality basic and specialized nursing care

    Inventory Manager | Renal Dialysis

    • A vacancy exists for an Inventory Manager based at Life Healthcare Head Office in Dunkeld reporting to the Regional Head of Operations.     Critical Outputs
    Effective product management      

    • Drive optimal pharmaceutical procurement and formulary compliance in line with standardized procurement agreements to reduce cost of care. Identify and share additional cost saving opportunities with all stakeholders.

    Effective asset management          

    • Drive the effective management of pharmaceutical stock in Life Renal Dialysis to achieve inventory targets.
    • Ensure relevant and up to date standard operating procedures for stock management.
    • Drive compliance to standard operating procedures to ensure financial governance and security of stock.
    • Drive optimal system utilization with appropriate benchmarking and sharing of best practice

    Effective financial management       

    • Contribute to the effective management of all factors affecting pharmaceutical cost of sales aligned to budgets.
    • Actively drive the achievement of financial measures relating to inventory in terms of budgeted stockholding and targeted stock days with minimal stock adjustments and stock write offs.

    • Provide SAP FIORI and relevant stock management training to new recruits responsible for stock management in Life Renal Dialysis.

    Requirements

    • Gr 12 National Certificate
    • Relevant Degree (B. Comm) or diploma in Supply Change Management
    • A working knowledge of the SAP Materials Management system is advantageous.
    • Knowledge of inventory control processes, procedures and practices.
    • Experience in a management role within an inventory management/logistics environment.
    • People management experience is essential. Excellent interpersonal skills as effective working relationships with LRD staff and external customers are critical.

    Maintenance Assistant

    • A vacancy exists for a Maintenance Assistant, based in the Engineering Department at Life West Coast Private Hospital reporting to Engineering Manager, Itumeleng Mokopanele.
