    Transformation Specialist - Bryanston

    Position Summary

    As a Transformation Specialist you will manage, analyze and report on B-BBEE verification and implement as well as realize BBBEE goals, standards, objectives and targets:

    • Manage projects within the various pillars of the Scorecard, namely Management Control, Skills Development, Preferential Procurement, Enterprise & Supplier Development and Social Economic Development;
    • Training of various BBBEE stakeholders and tracking overall Recognizable B-BBEE spend in the business;
    • Responsible for B-BBEE Verification process and mitigate any risks from a Verification standpoint;
    • Ensure that company’s B-BBEE objectives are in line with B-BBEE act.
    • Establish relationship and liaise with B-BBEE Verification Auditors;

    • To manage, drive and support all Management Control, Skills Development, PP Verification and Enterprise and Supply development transformational activities of the company in line with legislative requirements and best practice.
    • Documentation and Record Keeping and Audits:
    • Maintain proper documentation and records related to BBBEE compliance, including data collection forms, certificates, supporting documents, and audit trails.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of skills development activities, including training records, qualifications, and certifications. Prepare documentation and assist in audits conducted by regulatory bodies or external auditors to demonstrate compliance with skills development regulations and requirements.

    Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as management, employees, auditors, and BBBEE verification agencies, to ensure smooth communication and cooperation throughout the process.
    • Work closely with L&D professionals, trainers, HR personnel, and other stakeholders to gather data requirements, understand reporting needs, and provide support in data-related matters. This includes addressing inquiries, providing data insights, and facilitating data-driven decision-making.
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as HR, management, and employee forums or committees, to gather input and feedback related to employment equity. Engage with external stakeholders, such as the DEL, during employment equity audits or inspections. Act as a point of contact for employees seeking information or assistance regarding employment equity matters.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay updated on BBBEE legislation and regulations and contribute to the development and improvement of internal policies and processes to ensure compliance.
    • Continuously review and improve data management processes, systems, and reporting mechanisms to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry best practices in skills development data management and recommend relevant improvements to support organizational objectives. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to streamline data collection, reporting, and analysis procedures.

    Warehouse Manager - Harrismith

    Position Summary

    In this role you will be responsible to plan, execute, control and manage all activities associated with effective receiving, handling, storage and internal movement of all finished goods and raw material from point of arrival through to final assembly of orders ready for dispatch in correct quantity, time and condition so as to ensure that the depot operates at maximum efficiency.

    A day in the life of a Warehouse Manager:

    • To plan, execute, control, and manage daily operations of storing, picking, and replenishing.           
    • Ensure that warehouse floor space and height capacity is utilized to its maximum potential.
    • Monitor and ensure all warehouse buildings premises maintenance is attended to timeously and safely.                                                  
    • Ensure that the targeted OBD's for Freight, export and transport department are picked, checked, and invoiced each day by shift in accordance with priority listing.                             
    • Ensure incoming vehicles are all off-loaded in accordance with planning schedule set up by receiving.                                              
    • Ensure that goods received in daily by receiving & GRA are captured into the stock mainstream and put away accurately and without delay to avoid out of stocks and optimize service levels.
    • Ensure that the stock losses/gains are minimized to Depot's agreed objective.                                       
    • Ensure that danger list and export ageing stock reports are monitored and reacted on closely.          
    • Ensure that warehouse stock damages are managed to agreed standards and disposed of and accounted for as per procedures .                    
    • Ensue premises are secured and safe at the end of the shift.

    Planner - Harrismith

    Position Summary

    In this role you will be responsible to Create an optimized replenishment plan for raw and packaging materials over an 18-month horizon that ensures supply of material to production, within the agreed cost boundaries, whilst ensuring that the working capital targets for raw and packaging materials are met. 

    A day in the life of a IMM Planner:

    • Collaborate with peer Planners to share best practices, liaise with LEAN Champion, Business Excellence and Production Management to drive continuous improvement.                                    
    • Monitor supply signals through the use of MRP purchase requisitions ensuring delivery dates, lead times and required quantities are correct and finally creating purchase orders and ensuring their fulfillment by the supplier.                                                      
    • Manage directly with the defined supplier the delivery of materials: this includes investigating errors and discrepancies on invoice lines and handling all exceptions in those operations (e.g., claims management).                                                           
    • Define the stock policy and management approach to be applied to each SKU within their portfolio.                                           
    • Manage sourcing changes effectively and minimize write-offs.                                               
    • Review and maintain all relevant master data in the system.                                                  
    • Ensure excellent supplier relationships and involve them in Supply Chain improvement exercises to create shared value for both Nestlé and their suppliers.

    Position Summary

    Responsible to plan, organize and control the production or packing of products in a factory with, taking care that the goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and according to quality, safety, health and environment standards and specifications. 

    A day in the life of a Production Manager:

    QA Compliance Specialist

    Position Summary

    In this role you will be responsible to assess the level of compliance and determine the status of compliance on an on-going basis towards Food Safety, Legal and Nestle Quality requirements. 

    Proposes modifications and updates to the FQAM. In this position the jobholder is overall accountable for Compliance. Update internal documents such as QMS as per the updates received from regulatory affairs. Perform a complete gap assessment of all products for regulatory requirements and our practices once every year with the help of regulatory affairs.

    A day in the life of a Compliance Specialist:

    Leadership

    • Knows, by product group, all compliance requirements (Legal, Food safety and Nestle norms).
    • Ensures that monitoring schemes include all up-to-date compliance requirements and are implemented.
    • Reviews monitoring data for finished products, ingredients, and packaging materials against these requirements.
    • Alerts the FQAM on discrepancies and solutions.
    • Updates compliance requirements based on change management.
    • Ensures the launch of new products, which are compliant with norms.
    • Advise Factory management on troubleshooting out of specification results
    • Advise factory compliance requirements linked to Nett content management.
    • Oversee the budget for the chemistry laboratory and contaminant monitoring program.
    • Advise and manage the compliance to Halaal and Kosher requirements.

    Technical Assistance

    • Factory QA: Overall supervisor of Monitoring plan and Chemistry laboratory
    • Application groups; Provides the relevant Application groups with compliance related requirements, Information, and data.
    • Analytical facilities: Provides the analytical facilities, internal and external with up-to-date compliance requirements and follows up to receive results in a timely manner.
    • Supply Chain & Export: Provides compliance requirements to producing and receiving markets and ensures the IMS product briefs are completed on technical inputs.
    • Regulatory Affairs: Solicit for updates and provides data upon request through the FQAM.
