    Vehicle Stock Controller Kia South Africa Pty Ltd - IMFRG Alberton

     

    Job Description:

    • The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering stock control support in order to process vehicle stock transactions accurately and timeously through the execution of predefined work objectives as per agreed standard operating procedures.

    Specific Roles and Responsibilities:

    • All vehicles are to be checked for any damages / scratches/ dents
    • Ensure vin no's agree to delivery note
    • Ensure spare keys, spare tyre, lighters, tools are in vehicle 
    • Record all damages, tools/spare tyre, lighter not received on delivery note.
    • All keys to be locked away in key safe.
    • Spare keys to be split on receipt of vehicle 
    • Proper reconciliation to be carried out 
    • Reconciliation may be signed by MA and departmental manager

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Matric qualification
    • 3+ years' experience as a stock controller in the automotive retail industry 
    • Autoline/ Drive system experience preferable

    Skills and attributes:

    Job Description:

    Job Description:

    • The successful candidate will be responsible to develop tactical strategy and associated delivery plans and policies ensuring maximum efficiency and profitability of the dealership whilst providing customer satisfaction daily.

    Specific Role Responsibilities:

    • Come to work with a win-win attitude
    • Sit with Sales managers and F & I Managers daily. Discuss Debtors, deals invoiced, deals pending and activities, applications, trade- in valuations, stock levels, Daily CMS meetings and sales activity planning
    • Every morning check Work-In progress, cash sales for workshop and parts, vehicle debtors, interest. Check loan car status (why on loan? when is car due back?)
    • Do a daily walk-about of your Dealership ensure it is clean and tidy and is inviting to your customers.
    • Handle customer complaints daily, follow-up and close them off. Weekly:
    • Meet with salesmen, sales managers and F & I managers together twice a week. Salesman to discuss individual targets and how many deals they are each on and how many deals they will have invoiced and delivered by Friday (mini-month-end).
    • Weekly meeting with all managers: sale by DP, Sales Manager and salesperson. Ensure sales manager has two vehicles per salesman invoiced and delivered by the end es managers, F & I managers, parts managers, workshop manager and accountant. Discuss where we are in the month, were we need to get to, to reach budgets. Discuss any problems between department and how to resolve them
    • Go through trading accounts, have Accountant correct any errors you pick up. Do this weekly to prevent the month end drama
    • Do weekly boots and bonnet inspections of all company demos
    • Monthly Managers meeting to discuss previous months results, department by department. Discuss any abuse of expenses

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • 5 - 8 years' experience in a similar environment, of which 2 - 3 years at management level
    • A valid South African driver's licence.

    Job Description:

    • The successful candidate will be responsible to deliver an advisory service order to attend to non - technical service activities accurately and timeously as per agreed standard operating procedures.

    Specific Role Responsibilities:

    • To deal with all customers and coordinate service work and time
    • To act as liaison between service customers and dealership
    • To promote the sales of labour and parts 
    • Maintain service appointment list 
    • Obtain the customers approval and signature after first making sure the customer understands the dealership payment policy 
    • Contact the customer for authorisation whenever the repair order needs to be extended beyond agreed estimate and give him the new total cost estimate and new delivery time
    • Record the results of the contract on the repair order and any additional instructions authorised by the customer (or the customers refusal to authorise additional safety-related repairs)
    • Follow up while the repair is in progress to ensure its completion on schedule in accordance with repair instructions
    • Maintain customer file (Follow up system), telephoning the customers who have not responded to a mailing, ensure customer satisfaction by calling customers who have had major repairs
    • Settle customer complaints promptly 
    • Explain to the customer work performed and parts replaced when presenting the invoice 
    • Inform the Service Manager about trends in customer appointments, and shop performance 
    • Inform the sales department of the customers intention or possible intention to trade or sell 
    • Perform test drive after completion of repairs if necessary 
    • Attend training that the distributor provides for Service Advisor
    • Maintain neat and tidy appearance for greeting customer
    • Develop communication skills to reinforce customer relationship
    • Conform to warranty policies 
    • Keep on top of work in progress
    • Cash outstanding 

    Qualification and Experience:

    • Matric Certificate 
    • 3 - 5 years' work experience within the motor industry in a service advisor capacity with technical knowledge
