Relevant tertiary qualification (Hons/Masters equivalent) with a minimum of 7 year's Consulting/Advisory experience is essential, preferably within the life sciences and private healthcare sphere

Job Description
Main Purpose of Job
We are looking for a creative, energetic, confident, driven, and innovative Manager, to support the function leader in delivery of services to our relevant internal clients. We require in-depth experience in project and account management, business development, marketing, analytical skills, planning and coordination and good stakeholder management.
The role will involve:
Industry Portfolio Management – Supporting Industry leaders with business development initiatives including research, stakeholder management, revenue, and pipeline tracking, consolidation of client feedback, thought leadership distribution and client account support
Client Portfolio Management- Provide client account management support for key RA clients. Supporting Lead Business Partners in facilitating impactful client account meetings. Providing insights to inform business decisions and identify opportunities at the client. Support in the facilitation of detailed RA account labs, budget development and tracking and pipeline management on key accounts. Identify opportunities to conduct project reviews, proposal debriefs and client relationship reviews and participate in the facilitation of these discussions.
Offering business development support for our business unit, which will include research of market trends, stakeholder management, competitor insights, client targeting
Sales and pursuit support – Providing proposal support through coaching, design and layout advisory support, presentation training and preparation.
General adhoc requirements including the execution of key Clients and Industries initiatives designed to build, convert and track pipeline. Execute on key Clients and Industries special projects and the consolidation of critical information for leadco purposes.
Tracking market trends and analysis of the business response to these market trends

Main Purpose of Job
The Strategy Senior Manager works within the Africa Strategy Unit to advance the development of the Africa Member Firm network and implementation of its strategies to achieve the growth ambitions of the Africa Member Firm.
The scope of the role is Africa wide and requires the incumbent to play a key role in the shaping and framing the key strategies of the firm, working with the businesses to translate these strategies and drive execution.
The Strategy Senior Manger reports to the Strategy Unit Director, with frequent interaction with the Deputy Chief Executive, Africa Executive, Clients and Industries, service lines, internal client service functions and other senior leaders across the Africa firm.

Collaborating with the knowledge management function on research needs - including competitor analysis, market sensing (including key trends, acquisitions, macro and micro economic indicators)
Formulate business issues into robust and quantified decision frameworks to identify strategic option with preferred solutions to drive business performance
Identify and develop the supporting business case underpinning strategic options to quantify impact, tradeoffs, returns and implications of decisions
Identify underperforming/ sub-optimal parts of the firm’s portfolio to create visibility of areas requiring intervention - for instance optimisation and or investment
Develop a framework and the associated tools for assessing business performance, duplications and or overlaps
Analyse portfolios to identify trends, systemic issues and early warning signals of areas in the business which are at risk of becoming commoditised
Recommend corrective action based on the analysis
Support senior leaders on long range planning projects and ad-hoc requests

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications: University Graduate- Undergraduate degree with rigorous analytical and quantitative focus (Business Sciences, Business Administration (MBA or equivalent), Finance / Engineering)
Whilst not a strict requirement, a post graduate qualification in a management or numerate discipline would be an added advantage
Minimum 8 years’ working experience in a consulting environment

Established, professional with strong strategy experience at management level
