    Outside Sales - Contracting Logistics - Johannesburg

    Vacancy Details

    • Focus on development of New Business Revenue growth through prospecting, qualifying and closing on all CL / WS opportunities
    • Establish and build on a healthy Pipeline of CL / 3PL customers within the ZA market
    • Prepare tenders, related reports and presentations
    • Submit solutioned-engineered rates for all potential customers within the Vertical markets (sectors) as identified within the CL / WS Sales Strategy
    • Ensure continuous follow-up on pending clients ensuring RFQ / RFP submission dates are achieved
    • Engage Global IKAM team probing for opportunities from current / existing global customer base
    • Exceed sales objective and assigned targets by promoting and selling all Rhenus services
    • Ensure consistent achievement of quarterly sales targets as agreed with management
    • Ensure effective and ongoing communication between the Sales Teams and supporting departments within the Company at all levels
    • Respond and assist on all Sales queries as communicated by management

    Candidate Requirements

    •  Matric or Senior Certification equivalent
    • BCom logistics would be preferable
    • Formal Sales course/s with related Certification
    • Minimum of 10 years Sales experience, specifically in Contract Logistics (3PL) and       Warehousing Solutions within the Logistics / Supply Chain Industry
    • Proven track record of success / achieving set Sales targets

    Outbound Supervisor – Logistics – Johannesburg

    Vacancy Details

    • Ensure all teams comply with processes and procedures that have been defined.
    • Monitor all incoming and outgoing orders
    • Spot checks/ quality control on orders incl. correct security asures in place
    • Reporting of any inconsistencies or errors
    • Communication of Deliveries / Returns internally
    • POD / Document control and distribution
    • Co-ordination of staff to ensure vehicles are loaded quickly and efficiently while ensuring that packaging and quality is of the required standard

    • Further Studies advantageous 
    • At least 3-year experience in the field of Logistics / Supply Chain and its key contributors

    Senior Digital Transformation Specialist

    Vacancy Details

    • In close alignment with DTO, responsible for the end-to-end delivery of central applications using the global IT governance framework and adhering to Rhenus IT Policies, as well as RACI matrices that define the responsibilities of the DTT and other stakeholders
    • Supports project management resources and fostering a productive team environment
    • Leads, Take ownership over tasks in rollout projects and new IT initiatives to support the growth of the business (Senior leads, regular specialist takes ownership over tasks)
    • Continuous analysis of potentials for rollouts of further internal applications in your region
    • In coordination with central stakeholders, responsible for the initial implementation of internally used applications in your region, including accountability for project management for the entire rollout process (Senior)
    • Steering and monitoring, as well as reporting of the project portfolio to implement the digital strategy in your region towards the Digital Transformation Office
    • Regional communication of the Digital Transformation Strategy and related programs in an inspiring way to open up a mindset for change in the region in alignment with Regional Head of DTT
    • Ensure that the know-how of the digital applications is transferred properly within the region, especially viewing users as your customers to make sure the acceptance of new applications or functionality is high
    • Collaborating with regional stakeholders in such a way that they do not miss out on the transformation journey

    Candidate Requirements

    •         Completed studies in digital transformation, business informatics, economics or equivalent 
    •      Professional experience (1-3 years) and knowledge in the area of management and / or technology consulting in the context of IT strategy, project management and digital transformation, ideally with industry experience in logistics / international freight forwarding
    • Organizational multi-tasker with experience in digital transformation projects
    •      Change manager able to work in a dynamic, fast changing environment
    •      Strong project management and analytical and conceptual skills
