Intermediate/Senior Phase Virtual Teacher
Purpose of Role:
SPARK Schools virtual teachers drive student achievement by maintaining high expectations for virtual classroom culture, behaviour, and academic growth for all students. SPARK Schools Intermediate/Senior Phase virtual teachers are content specialists, who receive ongoing professional development customised for their past experience and individual needs. The Intermediate Phase teacher will be involved in the teaching of a core subject e.g. Math / Literacy and/or Natural or Social Science as well as other sub-core subjects alongside it, across grade levels.
Intermediate/Senior Phase virtual teachers are integral to the SPARK Schools culture and our commitment to rigorous, engaging learning experiences for our scholars.
Reports To: Intermediate Phase Virtual School Team Leader
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Plan for and be prepared to deliver virtual lessons to students from 7:30-4:00 pm (depending on grade level assignment and timetable) daily within content area specialisation.
Provide instruction in a variety of subjects and reach students with engaging lesson
plans and resources.
Collaborate with grade level and content area partners to develop rigorous, engaging virtual learning experiences and to create individualised behaviour and learning plans for all scholars.
Attend required professional development (virtual or in person).
Administer and mark formative and summative (termly)assessments to track student progress and analyse the data for student growth.
Submit scholar results data when required.
Virtual SPARK educators should have a core focus on student achievement and should drive all scholars to meet the required proficiency ratings.
Be prepared to lead weekly virtual SEL (Social Emotional Learning) circles and implement SPARK Schools Social Emotional Learning Curriculum.
Use SPARK culture and implement behaviour management strategies.
Communicate professionally with colleagues, parents and other stakeholders.
Participate actively in staff development opportunities as a member of the SPARK Schools team.
Conduct self in a professional manner at all SPARK Schools events and to all stakeholders.
Nurture a high achieving work environment where all scholars feel genuinely valued and supported.
Promote the vision and mission of SPARK Schools to staff, scholars, families, and the greater community.
Adhere to the child protection, anti-bullying and health and safety policy.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
B.Ed. degree or PGCE. Intermediate/Senior phase
Certification through the South African Council of Educators (SACE).
SAQA accreditation for non-South African equivalent qualifications.
At least 1 year of teaching experience.
English language fluency.
Clear criminal record

Purpose of Role:

Purpose of Role:
The Digital Marketer is responsible for implementing and managing all marketing campaigns specifically on digital channels. This role has two main aims:
To enhance brand awareness amongst our stakeholders using digital platforms.
To drive traffic to our social media pages and website, generating leads.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Establish a digital marketing roll out plan aligned with the overall marketing strategy
Define key performance indicators for digital marketing by channel and report on these KPIs on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns to drive online traffic to the company website, generating leads
Manage the company’s digital marketing agencies and ensure the quality of their outputs.
Maximise return on investment (ROI) on digital marketing spend.
Oversee the development and, maintenance of the company website
Track and analyse website traffic flow and report on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Continually optimise company website, social media pages and search engine optimisation (SEO) to generate quality leads for the sales team - ensuring lead targets are met
Develop a social media strategy and oversee the execution of that strategy
Ensure digital communications have a consistent tone and messaging aligned to the brand guide
Generate and track a list of keywords on Power BI
Timeously fix bugs in online platforms and content
Manage the creation and optimisation of online adverts
Oversee pay-per-click (PPC) advert management by the digital agency
Oversee digital marketing budget and ensure objectives are reached within budget parameters.
Create and conduct Net Promoter Score (NPS) surveys for staff and parents, collate data, generate and disseminate NPS Report
Manage the upload on virtual tours scans to the company website and work with the supplier to create new schools scans
Manage the generation of video content as required by the business
Identify new trends and technologies in digital marketing and recommend adoption of those most beneficial to SPARK Schools
Ensure that SPARK Schools remains at the forefront in industry developments
Conduct desktop research, including competitor and industry analysis and report on insights and learnings for the company
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree, diploma or equivalent qualification in marketing - digital marketing qualifications/certifications a plus
Experience
2 - 4 years of experience in digital marketing or a closely related field
Experience managing PPC, SEO, Google Analytics, Adwords and working with HTML/Javascript, Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads and Instagram Ads
Experience using Power BI to visualise marketing data beneficial
Skills and Mindset
Excellent content creation skills as well as the ability to customise communication for an online audience
Creative skills - creative ability to devise digital communication strategies
Excellent presentation skills; ability to explain and report on key digital marketing concepts and metrics to senior executives

Purpose of Role:
The Assistant Principal drives student achievement as an instructional leader by providing excellent instructional coaching and professional development to benefit classroom instruction and the Learning Lab. The Assistant Principal supports the Principal in providing teachers, blended learning facilitators, and PE coaches the training and support necessary to be highly effective, professional educators.

Responsibilities:
Ensure the continual professional development of our educators by coaching members of the instructional staff to the successful completion of the goals set in their individualised professional growth plans. This includes designing and facilitating weekly professional development sessions for the whole faculty, as well as arranging for individual professional growth opportunities.
Support student achievement by setting clear and high expectations for excellent teaching in all content areas. Maintain a regular schedule of observations in all learning spaces and observation review meetings with educators to ensure that they can successfully plan instruction, execute instruction, and implement SPARK Schools’ culture and behaviour management techniques.
Implement the network’s rigorous curriculum, which aligns to and extends the South African national curriculum.
Implement online curriculum and small group tutoring in the Learning Lab that aligns to and extends what is taught by classroom teachers.
Facilitate an assessment and data analysis cycle that allows instructional staff to analyse student performance and identify areas for targeted instruction.
Collaborate with school leadership team to manage instructional staff, including facilitating termly and final evaluations.
Participate in the selection of new school-based personnel.
Responsible for the onboarding of instructional staff members.
Define and share information about network-wide policies and procedures to parents, students, staff and community.
Implement disciplinary policies and procedures.
