    Digital Marketing Specialist: Paid Media - Sunbet

    Job Description

    • The Digital Marketing Specialist: Paid Media for Sunbet will be responsible for the delivery of the integrated digital paid media plan (including Paid Search, GDN, Paid Social Media, Native and programmatic platforms) for the Sunbet brand, with the aim of driving business acquisition into new and existing markets.
    • These plans will include the alignment of digital strategies, (such as SEO, Content and overall digital paid media integration) with the main digital strategy. 
    • The Digital Marketing Specialist: Paid Media will also be responsible for using insights and customer intelligence to deliver end-to-end (plan, test, execute, measure and refine) programmes and results, and manage tactical campaign deiverables.

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications

    • 3 Year Bachelor’s Degree / NQF Level 7 in marketing, communication or journalism
    • GAIQ certification (Google Analytics Certification) is an advantage

    Experience

    • 5 years successful experience in paid digital media planning and campaign management;
    • Experience demonstrating creativity from an ideas perspective, an eye for design and an understanding of the power of storytelling to better understand, engage with and motivate consumers.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Be a subject matter expert on Digital Paid Media platforms (including Paid Search, GDN, Paid Social Media, Native and potentially programmatic platforms) and how these can be used to leverage growth in online reputation and business growth
    • Understand the integrated Digital strategy and individual digital plans (SEO, Content, etc.) and devise an integrated implementation plan for digital paid media across digital assets and platforms
    • Understand and interpret the results of Social Reporting, Google Reporting and Revenue Reporting, in order to draw meaningful conclusions from data reports and translate them into a recommendations for future campaigns
    • Identify target audiences and analyse their characteristics, behaviour and media habits
    • Develops paid multi-channel initiatives and builds upon current client strategies within the digital arena to meet/exceed objectives
    • Make recommendations to various stakeholders of new initiatives and opportunities
    • Communicate and raise awareness with relevant stakeholders with regards the Digital Paid Media framework and how it can be utilized
    • Builds strong, trusting relationships with clients and agency partners, and collaborate on conceptualisation, planning and implementation for paid campaigns
    • Monitors paid media channels to ensure that the delivery and objectives are rolled out as per plan
    • Track and quality assure proofs on paid media interactions, creative products and delivery to ensure cost effective and impactful solutions
    • Monitor consistent and accurate messaging across channels
    • Analyse and report on the effectiveness of paid media campaigns, facilitating any amendments where required
    • Write communications briefs, ensuring that creative and media are effectively integrated
    • Facilitate project meetings for the implementation and delivery of campaign and / or event plans through specific initiatives to meet the objectives of the events and / or campaigns.
    • Manage key stake-holder expectations, escalating risks before they become problems
