PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Key areas include system uptime (NAPAfrica, Africa Cloud Exchange, Extra Connect, office network WAN+Breakout) and successful deployment of new and existing infrastructure (NAPAfrica, Africa Cloud Exchange, Extra Connect, office network (WAN+Breakout).
Part of the duties will be to travel to the outside stations on an ad hoc basis for upgrades and changes. This role must be available to work after hours and be on standby. This role will also need you to be the escalation point for the Tier 1 resource.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12
- Accredited Btech Tertiary qualification in OHS&E.
- A relevant Health & Safety registration (SACPCMP or equivalent registration) will be advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in OHS&E operations, maintenance and/or construction.
- Computer literacy.
- Good communication and reporting skills. Both verbal and written.
- Be willing to travel – multiple projects in Cape Town, Durban, and Johannesburg. Valid Driver’s License, code 08 minimum.
