Execute on the digital analytics and search engine optimisation strategy. Working with the internal clients to fully understand what the business wants and to establish clear creative briefs for projects, guiding them in a suitable direction
Working with other partners to deeply understand the needs and characteristics of target customers
Rigorously analysing business and customer needs alongside potential design options
Assisting in the creation of fully-documented interaction designs, including interface specifications and other interaction design deliverables
Assisting in clearly explaining the design approach, process and timelines to business stakeholders
Developing scenarios, navigation models and prototypes for demonstration of concepts
Education and Experience Required
Degree or diploma in a Design discipline such as product, industrial, service, interaction, digital or visual design or equivalent qualification
NQF Level 4
1- 3 years Technical experience
Able to create and use personas and produce illustrated customer journeys
Ability to communicate ideas through drawing, digital tools, prototyping, model making etc
2 years’ experience conducting audience and usability research including benchmarking, heuristic reviews, surveys, analytics, stakeholder interviews, focus groups, contextual inquiry and usability testing
2 years’ experience in each of the usability and software engineering cycle phases (analysis, design, implementation and deployment)

Job Summary
Opportunity for experience designer expert to join CIB digital team. Will be responsible for:
• Determining and applying appropriate design synthesis methods
• Support and participate in design research and testing
• Map the existing or intended client experience using relevant client experience artifacts
• Produce supporting client experience artifacts such as experience maps, persona's, client journey maps, etc.
• Contribute to the design decisions during product development based on client centric perspectives
• Collaborate with adjacent disciplines, such as PO's, Tech Leads, UX/UI designers, Design Leads, etc

Successful candidate will have the following:
3 - 5 years of CX design and or CX-related consulting is advisable - customer service management, customer/product value proposition management, process engineering and/or business analysis experience
Hands-on experience in designing and implementing operational changes
Understanding of design thinking; service design; ideation and systems thinking principles, and the ability to flexibly apply a variety of techniques to meet specific objectives and outcomes
Research skills utilizing a variety of primary and secondary research techniques at a high level
Strong planning and organizing skills
Strong facilitation and presentation skills to confidently control and guide a room of workshop participants
Proficient in software used for virtual workshop delivery and documentation of artefacts such as (but not limited to) Miro, Figma Adobe design programs
Proficient understanding of agile ways of work to drive implementation of ideas/changes within the business
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders (both strategically and operationally) in the business
Structured time-management skills, especially in a workshop scenario
Ability to self-manage and provide regular feedback to the client and squad
