    Description

    • Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
    • Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
    • Collect payments whether in cash or credit.
    • Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets.

    Bulk Stores Controller (Centurion)

    Job Description: 

    Bulk Stores Assistant

    • ACDC Dynamics a leading manufacturer, importer, and distributor of quality products in the electrical, electronics, pumps, and tools industry is looking for an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to contribute to our company’s objectives.

    Purpose of the Role

    • We are looking for an experienced Bulk Stores Assistant to maintain & manage the accuracy of stock levels and stock movement . 

    Key Performance Areas

    • To maintain & manage the accuracy of stock levels and stock movement
    • To make sure the bulk lockup is running efficiently and the staff are well trained, binning, picking & checking the stock accurately and sending it to out in the quickest possible time.
    • To ensure all orders, Inter branch stock & customer orders are picked and dispatched correctly.
    • To create space by consolidating pallets and move slow moving stock out.
    • To optimize space and productivity in the bulk warehouse
    • To ensure all ACDC procedures in the bulk warehouse are up to date and standard, staff are trained on it and that they are following it, providing customer satisfaction and as little as possible errors and damages.
    • To prepare & do ongoing cycle counts all through the year.

    Requirements

    WHAT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES ON A DAILY, WEEKLY, MONTHLY BASE:

    Daily:

    • Updating the attendance register, ensuring that all staff reporting to you are at work and on time.
    • Checking leave and/or pay queries for your department before submitting to your manager.
    • Running of daily reports
    • Resolve stock discrepancies
    • Range counts
    • Cycle counts
    • Transfers
    • Top up reports
    • Stock queries
    • IBT
    • Picking
    • Binning
    • Receiving
    • Training
    • Variance reports
    • Ensure that all orders are picked and dispatched each day, following company processes and procedures.
    • Signing off all the “no-stocks” or “problem stock” before notifying inventory.
    • Investigating all no-stocks and problem stocks signed for.

     Weekly:

    • Weekly reports ( BOF;  MULTIPLE BINS;  OBSOLETE;  OUTSTANDING TRANSFERS)
    • Backorders
    • Housekeeping & Inspection.
    • Ensuring that the bulk warehouse (loc 4) is running according to company procedures and requirements

    • Month-end reports
    • Proven work experience as a Bulk Stores Assistant
    • Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
    • Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
    • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done

    • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
