    Planned Maintenance Administrator (Fixed Term Contract)

    Job Description:
    This role is responsible to assist the Planned Maintenance Officer in the coordination, facilitation and management of the maintenance management programme for Mines and Plants by providing planning, control systems and maintenance of policies and strategies for the management of equipment whilst optimising the interface with other Mine and Plant systems and functions.

    SHE Governance and Assurance Practioner

    Job Description:
    The SHE Governance and Assurance Practitioner role is a key role that will do the following:

    • Implement, coordinate and conduct First Party SHE Risk Theme Audits at the operation;
    • Plan & coordinate the External SHE System Certification Audit;
    • Plan, implement and coordinate the Internal SHE System Audit Program for the operation;
    • Plan, Implement and assist in the execution of Operational SHE Internal Legal Compliance Assessments;
    • Plan and Implement an Annual Operational Assurance Program;
    • Plan and implement an operational audit schedule on critical areas to ensure the elimination of Fatal Incidents, Major Potential Incidents, and High Potential Incidents (AFRS, Risk Assurance, technical reviews);

    • Audit on a Quarterly Basis the close-out and effectiveness of implementation of actions that arise from operational incident investigations, risk assessments and audit reports;

    Civil Project Specialist

    Job Description:
    As a Civil project’s specialist, you will review and assess the impact of critical risks and monitor effectiveness of critical controls.

    Trackless Mobile Inspector

    Job Description:
    Join us at our Sishen Mine as our TTM Inspector where you will be responsible for the following:

    • Inspecting all equipment and Trackless Mobile Machines (TMM) for  compliance to safety standards before they enter the projects sites
    • Tagging all approved equipment before entering project sites
    • Developing inspection and tagging register
    • Inspecting all backlogged equipment on site, tag all equipment and place all equipment on register
    • Continuous equipment inspections on site to ensure compliance with MHSA, OHSA and Anglo standards
    •  Assisting the Kumba Site Engineer with machinery and equipment related issues
    • Discussing inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective actions
    • Inspecting all loads before off-loading to oversee moved loads for safe off- loading
    • Inspection and tagging register available and up to date
    • Braking tests that needs to be performed
    • Reporting are compiled and distributed to stakeholders
    • Inspections on light vehicles and surface mobile equipment

     This role is in the Growth Projects Department on a Band 7 and will be reporting to the Construction Manager

    Qualifications:
    You will need to have the following Qualification and Experience

    • Grade 12 (Matric)
    • A qualification in a technical Artisan trade (Mechanical, Diesel Mechanic or Electrical) Assessor Certificate (Advantage)
    • 5 - 7 years of experience as a TMM Inspector within Construction/ Mining/Projects

    Hygienist

    Job Description:

    • The role of the Specialist Hygienist will involved in designing, evaluating, co-ordinating and managing occupational hygiene programmes within the mine to meet legal compliance and a safe and healthy working environment, thereby minimising the operation(s) risk of litigation and adverse publicity.

    Manager Mining

    Job Description:

    • As a mining manager, you will be responsible for setting up a new mine and progressing contractors that are going to be recruited to do their contract work. You will work closely with processing to align tonnage to fragmentation, volume, grade targets and with AS&R to align equipment availability targets and operate the reliability programmes.
    • You will also lead development and ongoing management of the mining annual plan and budget.

    Digital Media Specialist

    Job Description:
    The purpose of this role is to successfully implement the South African digital communication strategy through compelling insights-led content through  innovative and robust infrastructure supported by the website, social media and digital creative. Through the regular creation of high-quality, engaging collateral, the Digital Media Specialist should influence Anglo American’s reputation positively in South Africa with external stakeholders.

    Key Tasks include:

    • Day-to-day management of Anglo American SA’s suite of digital and social media platforms, including monitoring, feedback and identification of trends for risk management (advisory & service authority).
    • Manage and engage effectively with vendors who provide services for Anglo American’s digital and social media channels (advisory & auditing authority).

    Manager Geology

    Job Description:
    As the Geology Manager, you will lead the Geology teams to deliver safe, productive outcomes in-line with agreed plans, operating standards and legal requirements and data analytics which will help us to ensure realization of Burning Ambition, Zero Harm, Elimination of Fatalities, Life of Asset Plan and advancement of Future Smart Mining.

    Qualifications:
