    Senior Accountant/Financial Manager

    The Senior Accountant/Financial Manager is required to report on the financial status by preparing and analyzing financial plans, forecasts, and reports on P&L after GP and Balance sheet. Experience in a multinational is essential. The Senior Accountant/Financial Manager will be required to execute the below task.

    • On monthly basis analyzing Expenses, EBITA, P&L results and the Balance sheet of the company.
    • Reporting on P&L and Balance sheet to group as per group policy and procedure.
    • On monthly basis, preparing and analyzing reconciliations of assigned GL accounts.
    • Monthly statutory submissions to SARS
    • Responsible for the management of inventory (incl. stock count) on ERP system.
    • Evaluating system of internal control procedures identifying weaknesses therein and communicating those weaknesses added with recommendations to management on a timely basis.
    • Liaising with external Auditors as required.
    • Support in updating policies and procedures for the company.
    • Perform GL entries when needed.
    • Perform month-end system program runs and journal entries for closing activities.
    • Asset, Fleet- and Cellphone Service Provider management
    • Cash flow forecasting
    • Excon applications and approvals
    • Involvement in internal controls as required

    Marketing Manager Distributor Markets Africa

    The Marketing Manager manages the day to day marketing activities of Distributors in the Rest of Africa region and long term marketing strategy for the company, in line with Group requirements. The focus is to market the Brand and products throughout the region.

    • At least 3-5 years’ work experience in a similar role in a Global organization, with proven success.
    • Previous proven success in Africa (outside of South Africa) in distributor markets.
    • Development, implementation and execution of the Brand strategy in the Rest of Africa.
    • Development, implementation and execution of the marketing strategy for new and existing products in the Rest of Africa.
    • Overseeing implementation of the Marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, but not limited to these.
    • Working closely with the region’s Market Leaders; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations, tailored for their target markets throughout Africa.
    • Working closely with the General Manager Sales Rest of Africa to execute on the business plan.
    • Working closely with Global product management team to define marketing materials and programs.
    • Product strategy and product launch experience.
    • Developing and delivering marketing and communications strategies for the organisation.
    • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends.
    • High focus on product category growth through distributors.

    Sales Product Specialist Long Term Care & Homecare

    The purpose of this position is to facilitate and establish growing partnerships with customers and working closely with key opinion leaders in the long-term care market, while acting as an all-round sales and product specialist in promoting brand equity, offering immobility solutions in improving the quality and effectiveness of their care.

    The scope of this position entails overall product category strategy, development and execution, as well as providing proactive product and marketing support within South Africa, in order to drive revenue growth and profitability. Continuous improvement upon identification and development of opportunity areas, as well as optimization of asset deployment and investment.

    • Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing long-term care customers
    • Consistently developing new partnerships in broadening the long-term care footprint in Gauteng.
    • Analyzing needs for long-term care quality improvement plans
    • Sales reporting on activities, planners, rolling forecasts, competitors info, market share, install base and database maintenance
    • Achieving sales targets
    • Guiding and advising the sales teams on safe patient handling assessments
    • In-service training on all products sold, bearing in mind shift changes of hospital staff
    • Providing customers with solutions to manage risks associated with immobility
    • Providing feedback on future buying trends
    • Representing Arjo at trade exhibitions, symposiums, events and demonstrations
    • Liaising with Operations and Supply Chain department to check on the progress of existing orders and stock levels
    • Keeping abreast with the latest Arjo product knowledge and maintaining a positive relationship with the global Product Manager
