    Research Associate - Advisory and Transaction in Property - Johannesburg

    Responsibilities:

    • Market Research: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of real estate markets, including local and regional trends, market conditions, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities. Stay updated with industry news and regulatory changes that may impact the real estate market.
    • Data Analysis: Utilize various data sources and tools to collect, organize, and analyse real estate data, such as property sales, rental trends, vacancy rates, demographics, and economic indicators. Identify patterns and trends to support decision-making processes.
    • Forecasting and Projections: Develop accurate and reliable forecasts and projections for real estate markets based on historical data and market research. Present findings to senior management and stakeholders to support strategic planning.
    • Investment Analysis: Collaborate with the wider team to evaluate potential real estate opportunities, including acquisitions, valuations, developments, and disposals. Assess investment risks, returns, and potential market impact.
    • Report Generation: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate research findings, market analyses, and investment recommendations to various stakeholders within the organization.
    • Data Management: Implement effective data management practices to ensure data accuracy, security, and accessibility for research purposes.

    Requirements:

    • Educational Background: Preference for a degree in Real Estate, Economics, Finance, Research, Statistics, or a related field. Additional certifications in real estate research or data analysis are a plus.
    • Experience: Proven experience in real estate research, market analysis, and data-driven decision-making. This is not an entry level role and rather positioned at senior analyst or associate level. Several years of professional experience (3-5) is preferred.
    • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex data sets. Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools is highly desirable.
    • Real Estate Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the real estate industry, including property types, market dynamics, investment strategies, and relevant regulations.
    • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Team Player: A collaborative and proactive team player who can effectively work with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
    • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in research and analysis.
    • Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

    Facilities Helpdesk Coordinator - Bellville

    Main purpose / objective of the position:

    • To manage the successful delivery of the facilities management services to the business. Administer all services, including switchboard / reception and handyman functions and liaise with service providers and business departments on providing various services and products.
    • Complete any work requested by the Facility Manager.

    Decision making authority:
    This position has the authority to:

    • Execute all Key Performance Areas as stated on this form and in line with the Company approval framework and policies and procedures.

    Experience / Education:

    • Grade 12
    • One year general management experience
    • One year general facilities management / co-ordination experience
    • SAP RFPO and general accounting experience

    Skills required:

    • Computer literacy (MS Office)
    • Basic accounting principles, PO requests, GRN
    • Supplier coordination
    • Verbal and written communication skills
    • Negotiation skills
