    Sales Executive

    The purpose of the role is to grow Diageo share of market in the On Trade by increasing spirits penetration, driving recruitment of consumers into Diageo’s spirits portfolio and building superior customer relationships to ultimately outperform the competition.

    Top Accountabilities

    Territory analysis, planning and execution to drive volume/value growth and achievement of KPIs. Execute formal on trade strategy as per defined standards of excellence in Business Plans and Cycle activity. Collaborate and build superior relationships with the On Trade and Redistributor customers servicing relevant territory. Educate and empower outlet staff to become advocates of Diageo brands through educational marketing platforms and other in-store staff incentive programs. Plan and collaborate with Reserve Ambassadors to win with the Reserve Portfolio in the right outlets and with the right consumers. Execute out of channel opportunities and occasions in line with brand/customer marketing guidelines. 100% adherence to customer calls as per guidelines per outlet, assigned route and frequency. Manage territory budget and adhere to Measurement and Evaluation business principles. Live and adhere to the Diageo compliance agenda and code of business conduct.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications and Experience Required

    • Driver’s licence
    • 3 year diploma/degree will be advantageous

    Experience

    • 2-3 years sales experience essential, preferably in the FMCGG/beverage industry

    Production She/Risk Specialist

    • Advise Sites on the SHE Standards (Legal & Internal)
    • Safety Inductions for new staff, contractors and relevant visitors
    • Audit SHE Systems against legal and Diageo Systems (LTO) and provide support with the implementation of remedial action measures.
    • Identify risk issues and assist in applying appropriate level of controls
    • Raise SHE Awareness and the right culture is in place FOR “Zero Harm”
    • Provide specialist knowledge in areas of SHE.
    • Interpret regulations, codes and standards for appropriate control
    • Ensure legal training requirements are conducted & sustained
    • Report on monthly Accident, Health & Environmental KPI’s
    • Liaise with local authorities and form a pro-active relationship
    • Manage the reliability and accuracy of reports i.e mandatory inspection & testing of equipment and training of people.
    • Close Out on Audit findings and support on remedial action measures.
    • Ensure Compliance, implementation and maintenance of Diageo standards and Legislation (Government & Local)
    • Carm & BPM support.
    • Comply and maintain Quality Systems such as ISO 9001 & Food Safety (FSSC 22000) Systems

    KPI’s

    • Auditing of Systems (LTO)
    • Submission of Action Plans
    • Safety - Accidents- LTA / TRA / Minor, First Aid & “Near Miss”
    • “Zero Harm” initiative
    • Energy, Water, Waste and Incidents

    Role Capabilities

    • General awareness and understanding of Diageo and legal Health & Safety requirements
    • Understands his/her personal responsibility to ensure a safe workplace.
    • Ensures employees in his/her team are aware of what safety rules and programs apply and understand how they should comply.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum Degree in Safety Management or Environmental Science
    • NOSA SAMTRAC certification preferably
    • Certificate in Internal Auditing

    EXPERIENCE

    • 3-5 years of applying Incident Investigation & Root Cause analysis techniques (NOSA certificate. or equivalent)
    • Strong functional/technical knowledge of a factory environment & FMCG process in Supply Chain (preferred)
    • Experience in dealing with local authorities (incl. Dept. of Labour and Municipality)
    • Computer Literate (Advanced Microsoft Office)
    • Supervisory Skills
    • Basic Budget Control
