    Sales Consultant Hospitality

    Applications are invited for the above mentioned position in the Sales SA division based at Southern Region, Parow. The person will report to the Field Sales Manager Hospitality.
    Purpose Statement Of The Position

    • To sell and promote Distell Brand portfolio to customers within a specific geographical area by creating brand awareness and building brands in line with strategic objectives.

    Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

    • Drive Market Share: Drive Accessibility, Availability and Activations
    • Power Pack Compliance: Drive power pack compliance agreements with customers
    • Build partnerships with customers: Call strike rate and 4 A score compliance vs non-compliance
    • Drive continuous improvement and implement business improvement initiatives and share andbimplement new ideas regarding sales and improving effectiveness of sales force
    • Take responsibility for own development and contribute to team effectiveness and displaying the Distell values

    The Successful Candidate Must Have The Following Experience/skills

    • Relevant Diploma
    • 2-3 years FMCG or relevant experience
    • Flexible 44 working hour week
    • Week end promotions
    • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when required

    Demonstrates Proficiency In The Following Functional Competencies

    • Persuasive selling skills & negotiations - Influence the customer through linking product features and benefits to specific customer needs
    • Sales Commercial Insights - Awareness and understanding of the implications of fundamental commercial implications on day-to-day decisions
    • Sales process management - Understand the primary key drivers of sales in different channels
    • Sales Product Knowledge - Product relevance by channel, cluster and tier understood and applied
    • Sales strategies and plans to sustain brand growth - Has an awareness of sales strategic planning process in Distell and understands all the components that impacts sales and brand growth
    • Sales Technology Application - Demonstrate an understanding of how technology works within the sales

    Warehouse Controller

    Applications are invited to apply for the above mentioned position to be based in Boksburg International Warehouse, within the Warehouse department. The successful applicant will report to the Warehouse Manager.

    Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

    • Ensure timeous supply of products to Export Customers.
    • Apply, execute and control effective stock management principles.
    • Ensure that quality & risk management standards, policies and procedures are adhered to within the department and reviewed annually.
    • Ensure efficient truck and forklift utilisation and the loading of contracted transport.
    • Ensure control of transport arrangements to complete Customer deliveries.
    • Achieve efficient truck turnaround times.
    • Maintain/Control Export service on a high level.
    • Leading monthly SLA’s with Customers and Suppliers.
    • Effective Control and adherence to monthly ICC’s
    • Manage Budget and OPEX in line with Operations requirements.
    • Completing of Weekly and Monthly Operational reports in line with KPA/KPI
    • Managing write offs and losses within the Warehouse/Exports environment.
    • Ensure a high standard of Admin and Warehouse Housekeeping.
    • Attainment of subordinates’ training and development plans to meet business objectives.
    • Applying leadership skills to ensure competent and motivated staff.
    • Manage Site/Building Maintenance and Repairs.

    The Successful Candidate Must Have The Following Experience/skills

    • Senior certificate (Grade 12).
    • A Diploma within the Logistics/Warehousing study fields.
    • 3 – 4 years warehouse/export experience in a leadership role.
    • Computer literacy in MS Office, especially Excel on an intermediate level of competency is essential.
    • Experience on the SAP administration system.
    • The ability to develop a clear vision for subordinates and involving team members in creating a shared vision.
    • The ability to utilise the appropriate leadership style and develop individual capabilities.
    • The ability to develop new ideas and to create new concepts and solutions to problems.
    • The ability to organise and utilise resources and effectively delegate tasks to subordinates.
    • The ability to implement prescribed productivity and work flow methods and to ensure smooth execution of stock control within the Warehouse.
    • Knowledge of all packaging and warehouse management principles.
    • The ability to manage a warehouse through space utilisation, effective delivery and human resources utilisation.
    • Knowledge of all stock control management principles.
    • The ability to manage the stock control process through procedure and process adherence.
