Principal Job Responsibilities (Duties include, but are not limited to):
Media relations support to the client management team, including distribution of media releases, securing media interviews and news-jacking opportunities as well as managing expectations on turnaround times
This role will also include feature motivations writing, so writing skills are key
Management of agency and client media contact lists (in line with POPIA regulations) – ensuring media contacts are up to date
Media strategy and campaign development – participate in the development of client strategies
Development and management of strong media relationships with journalists from a range of publications in the B2B business and technology sectors.
Knowledge sharing with agency team members about media liaison best practices
Working closely with the team to ensure we make the most of all media opportunities – for example special days both local and national
Proactively source media opportunities for clients
Story conceptualisation – helping to brainstorm ideas to generate coverage for clients
Assisting account lead on the media section of Monthly reporting
Administration of accounts in regards to media spend etc (records, billing, etc.)
Qualifications and Experience:
Matric – essential
Relevant tertiary qualification. Degree essential – Journalism, Media, PR
Four+ years’ relevant working experience (preferably within a PR/Comms agency) – essential
Experience working in a press or media relations role with a solid understanding of the local media landscape – essential
Experience working with B2B clients, across multiple sectors – Existing tech and business media relations – critical

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Project Manager who is passionate about both PR and digital
You must have a strong acumen for digital marketing best-practice to establish an optimal presence and online identity to target audiences by using various metrics and tools to improve user journey and achieve results
The role requires an experienced digital marketer that will create and implement strong digital marketing strategies and campaigns for various clients in the B2B technology space
This includes launching, optimising and implementing online media campaigns across various digital networks including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads and other social platforms
Principal Job Responsibilities (Duties include, but are not limited to):
Managing the development and implementation of digital marketing plans for up to five Enterprise Tech clients simultaneously (with your team of course)
Guide stakeholders and channel teams on tracking requirements and implementation to enable effective monitoring and reporting.
Proactively recommend initiatives to stakeholders that would drive business objectives through paid media campaigns, channel usability and user experience
Coordinate and manage Digital marketing campaigns for optimum results
Analyse and make recommendations for all areas of the business’ digital need to establish where it can be improved
Develop and make recommendations for optimal SEO strategies
Manage account organisation and prepare accurate reports on overall performance of marketing campaigns
Write, create, schedule and monitor social media content across multiple platforms
Developing existing channels for attracting traffic
Searching and testing new scalable channels
Share knowledge, collaborate and train other team members – SEO, design, development, etc.
Qualifications and Experience:
Matric – essential
3+ years in digital marketing
Relevant tertiary qualification. Degree essential
Experience in tech companies will be an advantage
Press and digital writing experience – advantageous
Experience using Google Docs Suite – advantageous
High level of responsibility, proactivity and organization
Knowledge in the following areas: google ads, contextual advertising, Direct Marketing (incl. trigger emails), SEO, affiliate marketing,
Strong Facebook and LinkedIn Ads background
Experience managing several campaigns at once
Good numerical, analytical and research skills to evaluate campaigns
