    Organisational Design Specialist

    Description

    • Administer, score, interpret and provide detailed feedback on psychometric assessments for various purposes in accordance with HPCSA guidelines;
    • Make recommendations based on the job profile and assessment outcome;
    • Update Assessment Matrix where applicable;
    • Maintain and update the Assessment database;
    • Assist OD Manager to facilitate team building sessions;
    • Provide analytical support to succession and talent management processes;
    • Compile and update talent information databases and ensure data integrity;
    • Generate analytics and reports for Manager and Senior Manager review;

    • Conduct research on assessment and talent best practice;
    • Support and advise stakeholder/s on the implementation of OD processes where applicable;
    • Provide input and assistance to the OD Manager on the design of project road-maps in order to support OD and HR initiatives;
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of various frameworks within OD;
    • Compile reports on the effectiveness of OD interventions;
    • Assist with data gathering, diagnostics, and preparation of project materials for OD interventions;
    • Prepare organograms, project trackers, and progress reports;
    • Contribute insights into process improvements and monitor outcomes;
    • Conduct job analysis and provide SME guidance regarding job profiles;
    • Ensure that job profiles are compiled within set requirements for all changed/new positions in the structure;
    • Ensure consultation and communication processes take place;
    • Update the relevant platforms with the updated profiles;
    • Provide expert advice and amend organisational structures where required;
    • Obtain approval and input on all structure changes from OD Manager as well as other critical stakeholders;
    • Collaborate with the relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment with job architecture, updated career paths and job profile;
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to gather job profiling and assessment information;
    • Coordinate with external service providers where required;
    • Ensure all work complies with South African labour legislation (EEA, BCEA, LRA, POPIA).

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);
    • BCom/BA Degree in Industrial Psychology or similar (Essential);
    • Registered with the HPCSA as Psychometrist (Essential);
    • Registered with the HPCSA as a Psychologist (Advantageous;
    • 5 years’ experience in Organisational development/design and Psychometric Assessments in a in a mid-sized organisation (Essential);

    Specific specialist experience in at least 2 of the following functions (Essential):

    • End to end Psychometrics;
    • Performance management;
    • Talent Management;
    • Succession Management;
    • Aviation experience (Advantageous);

    Certified to administer and interpret the following assessments:

    • Top Talent Solutions suite (Essential);
    • WRISC (JvR) (Essential);
    • CPP (Advantageous).

    Driver

    Description

    • Operations; 
    • Safely transport crew and staff between airports, training centres, hotels, and other designated points;
    • Assist with ad-hoc collections and deliveries as required;
    • Ensure punctuality to meet operational schedules;
    • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and promptly report any defects or irregularities;
    • Keep the vehicle clean, presentable, and roadworthy at all times;
    • Monitor service schedules and licensing renewals to ensure compliance;
    • Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel usage, and trip details, and ensure timely submission of receipts and reports;
    • Follow company safety, security, and road safety regulations at all times;

    Flight Operations Assistant

    Description

    • Prepare and distribute an Operational Flight Plan for each FlySafair flight;
    • Ensure ATS Flight Plans are filed;
    • Support flight planning through route selection, alternate selection, fuel planning, NOTAMs, weather, MEL/CDL and operational constraints;
    • Active CTOT and ATFM monitoring and coordination;
    • Monitor and respond through OCC Communication channels;
    • Maintain continuous awareness of the status of all aircraft and flights during the shift;
    • Monitor non-normal operations and apply company procedures;
    • Distribute the Operational Daily Flight Movement and revisions;
    • Assist with formulating alternative plans with the least amount of schedule impact during irregular Operations;
    • Ensure awareness of the status of all aircraft during the shift;
    • Advise relevant parties of any company related delays;
    • Communicate with all relevant staff, aircrew, engineering and management where applicable. Liaise with Flight Line, Crew and AMC to arrange all services as required;
    • Assist in the preparation and finalisation of arrangements for additional scheduled flight, charter flights, and training or maintenance flights. Comply with all regulatory safety and security requirements relevant to Flight Operations.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or Equivalent (Equivalent);
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an aviation operations environment (Essential);
    • Restricted Radiotelephony License (Advantageous);
    • Willing and able to work shifts (including weekends and public holidays);
    • Knowledge of Flight Planning and dispatch Aviation regulations;
    • Knowledge of an Aviation Operational environment.

    Senior Certified Aviation Technician (Avionics) - Heavy Maintenance

    Description

    • Required to perform various maintenance duties including, but not limited to:
    • Conduct line maintenance inspections;
    • Conduct routine inspections on various avionics systems on the aircraft;
    • Conduct fault finding and rectify based on the fault;
    • Perform thorough daily inspections of the aircraft to identify any potential issues or defects;
    • Conduct necessary maintenance tasks to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft;
    • Adhere to established maintenance procedures and safety standards;
    • All activities must be properly recorded and signed off as per SACCA requirements ensuring that all the required legal aspects are complied with;
    • Health and Safety requirements must always be complied with to ensure Personal and other Personnel Safety, Fire and Accident/lncident preventions;
    • Ensure that the work area, equipment, and tooling are properly maintained and safe prior to starting any job to prevent accidents or incidents to aircraft and staff;
    • Apply analytical thinking and troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes and implement effective solutions;
    • Communicate clearly and professionally to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of maintenance tasks.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);
    • Trade Test Certificate (Avionics-related, e.g., Avionician, Aircraft Instrument Mechanic, Aircraft Electrician, or Aircraft Radio Technician —SACAA recognised) (Essential);
    • Licensed AME with SACAA WI, W2, W3 (Essential);
    • B737-800 system courses (Essential);
    • B737-8(MAX) system course (Advantageous);
    • Oxygen course (Advantageous);
    • Minimum of 15 years aviation maintenance experience (Essential) Line and SVM experience (Essential);
    • Previous experience as an Aviation Technician on B737-800 avionics systems (Essential);
    • Previous experience as an Aviation Technician on B737-8(MAX) avionics systems (Advantageous) OJT experience (Advantageous);
    • Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, including overtime when required;
    • Must be available and willing to travel locally/internationally at short notice;
    • Valid South-African passport and driver's licence;
    • Sound understanding of technical aircraft publications and documentation (including SWPM);
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of aviation regulations and safety standards;
    • Good understanding of the Avionics Schematic systems;
    • Excellent knowledge and troubleshooting experience on B737-800;
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook, PowerPoint).
