    Front End Developer

    What we’re looking for:

    • If you’re looking for your next challenging project, a collaborative environment and an exciting industry, then this is the place for you!
    • We are looking for a Front End Developer to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities include translation of the UI/UX design and wireframes to code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides.
    • The Front End Developer will work in a multi-disciplinary team with the goal of designing and developing world-class experiences, delighting users and transforming businesses. The Front-end Developer will work closely with UX and UI designers to produce front-end solutions and prototypes. We are seeking driven individuals who strive to create world-class industry leading code.
    • GLI is currently working remotely, until it is safe for our employees to return to work. The successful candidate will be virtually onboarded for now.

    Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Develop new user-facing features with a focus on responsive solutions
    • Front-end development through reusable, testable code and libraries
    • Detailed documentation of all developed code and its day-to-day processes
    • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
    • Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability
    • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
    • Ongoing evaluation and optimisation of systems
    • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
    • Development of personal skill set in-line with industry trends to meet company objectives
    • Growing the front-end team
    • Operate as a senior in the team by providing input, training and guidance to other members of the team.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Excellent understanding of HTML and CSS
    • Excellent understanding of JavaScript Programming Fundamentals
    • Excellent understanding of AngularJs and Angular.
    • Excellent understanding of WordPress
    • Good understanding of Reactive Programming RxJS (Reactive Extensions for JavaScript)
    • Advanced CSS / SASS essential
    • Basic competence with PHP and its surrounding technologies
    • Responsive/adaptive development for web and mobile experience.
    • Knowledge of front-end build tools (e.g. Grunt / Gulp)
    • Knowledge of front-end dependency management (e.g. NPM / Bower)
    • Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as as-as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
    • Proficient understanding of cross-browser and mobile compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
    • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
    • Solid knowledge of state management  (NGXS & NGRX) preferable 
    • 5+ Years’ experience in Front-end Web Development

    Affiliate Marketing Manager

    Job Description

    • We are looking for an Affiliate Marketing Manager to join our GLI family in Century City.
    • If you’re driven, out-going and a vibrant individual, that has a passion for business development, enjoys challenging projects and weekly company events, then this is the place for you!
    • The Affiliate Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving traffic towards the company’s client gaming websites. The role will oversee the affiliate team, and involve identifying and signing up new affiliate partners, promoting the industry leading affiliate program to them, and effectively managing the on-going relationship with existing affiliate partners. This person defines long-term strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

    Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • New Business Development – drive traffic, analyze results, adjust advertising and landing pages. Growth is the number one goal.  
    • Ensure acquisition growth through acquiring new players and clients. Analyze all acquisition activities to find out what to stop and where to push resources
    • Take responsibility for the performance of the Affiliate team
    • Provide oversight, guidance and leadership to the team
    • Recruit new qualified affiliates on a global basis to deliver on new account goals
    • Reactivating a dormant base of affiliates in the program
    • Develop and successfully negotiate commercial agreements with affiliates.
    • Plan and organize promotions that encourage affiliates to generate acquisitions.
    • Successfully negotiate and conclude positioning agreements with affiliates.
    • Selection and briefing of appropriate creative.
    • Co-ordination of back-end fulfilment with other departments.
    • Measurement of affiliate performance by monitoring key metrics such as customers acquired, cost per acquisition, deal break evens and overall revenue generated.
    • Maximise affiliate performance based on measurements, through changes to creative, positioning, price, etc.
    • Networking and attendance at international conferences
    • Liaise, organise and provide input into stand designs
    • Attend networking opportunities
    • Manage the team attending the conference
    • Building and improving processes, systems and features to support business growth in acquiring new online affiliates
    • Account managing a portfolio of existing affiliate partners to maximize revenue generation
    • Nurture existing affiliates to deliver incremental revenue
    • Ensure affiliate payments happen timeously and correctly
    • Ensure the affiliate programme website is up to date and improved

    Skills and Qualifications

    • 3 years Business, Marketing or related degree or experience
    • 5 years of Affiliate marketing experience – preferably in the igaming/casino industry.
    • A strong sales / acquisition / commercial negotiation background – with experience in meeting revenue and new business targets consistently
    • Experience with online marketing models – CPA (Cost Per Action), CPC (Cost-Per-Click ) and CPM (Cost-Per-Mill) and Revenue share payment models
    • Solid negotiation and deal closure ability / excellent business acumen essential to liaise with clients International travel experience/exposure Experience in the global market place, International travel experience / exposure non-negotiable
    • Experience in creating and executing online marketing campaigns
    • Ability to design and implement strategies for global markets
    • Ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level and manage a high level of complexity

    BI Analyst

    Job Description

    Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    BI Analyst Duties

    • Provide clear and actionable insights to all business units through project based work and daily performance tracking
    • Creating reports in Tableau to provide the business units with clear and actionable insights
    • Providing meaningful and timeous feedback to all business units on queries regarding business metrics as and when the arise
    • Provide data to the marketing and financial units of the business as needed
    • Maintain Tableau online landscape to ensure data is uploaded and updated correctly on a daily basis
    • Provide feedback to management on insights, new reports, new developments
    • Communicate throughout the business on new improvements in reporting / analysis / findings / insights
    • Assist management/staff with ad hoc investigations where Tableau reports are unable to answer the specific question.
    • BI Developer Duties
    • Maintain existing and new MYSQL databases
    • Oversee daily warehouse updates to ensure the warehouse is updated correctly and timeously
    • Together with the Head of BI, you will be responsible for the organisation’s Management Information landscape to provide metrics, reports, dashboards and analysis needed to drive the business.
    • Upskilling as required in order to create data pipelines and ETL processes.

    Ad Hoc Requirements

    • Providing the finance team with data required for monthly shareholder reports and providing commentary as needed
    • Daily monitoring of routines and integrity tests to ensure they have completed successfully and without error
    • Weekend morning support to ensure transfer routines have completed successfully is required on a rotational basis
    • Improving personal, business and industry knowledge, and upskilling oneself as and when required.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Strong maths, statistics and logical skills
    • Relevant numerate Bachelor Degree, Computer Science, Finance or Business preferred
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role
    • Minimum 3 years SQL experience
    • Minimum 3 years Tableau experience
    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, VBA knowledge an advantage
    • Excellent knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Online
    • Excellent knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL platforms
    • Sound understanding of database principles and relational table structures
    • Knowledge of how to control financial information systems an advantage.

    Attributes

    Graphic Designer

    Job Purpose:

    • The Graphic Designer will support client brands by designing graphics for a wide variety of scenarios, including web, infographics, email, and social media. The Designer will have a commitment to user-centricity and experience in design projects.  The Designer has an eye for clean and artful design, possesses superior Adobe skills and is able to translate high-level requirements into beautiful, intuitive user interfaces.

    Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

    • Support the brands by designing marketing campaigns and collateral for application, such as banners and email collateral
    • Maintain the digital style guide
    • Manage, organise and keep marketing and multimedia assets up to date.
    • Graphic design – Support the brands by designing marketing campaigns for application in a wide variety of scenarios, including web, infographics, email, social media and print.
    • Multimedia – Responsible for editing photography, digital imaging and publishing, animation and interactive media development to reach and engage diverse audiences.
    • Create rich media content, including multimedia, video textual, photographic, motion graphics, slideshow and animation.
    • Research best practice and design trends.
    • Project discovery – Workshops, requirements gathering and analysis.

    Additional responsibilities may include:

    • UI design
    • Executing design as a part of a multi-disciplinary team.
    • Working closely with UX Designers to focus on how the solution works.
    • Focus on what the solution will look like.
    • Design across devices and browsers.
    • Act as the user-advocate during the development process, subjecting early-stage designs to usability testing or expert review.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • 3+ years of experience as a Graphics Designer
    • Ability to work comfortably in Photoshop and produce a large amount of artwork.
    • Experience in Illustrator and various other Adobe CC programs.
    • Basic HTML is advantageous
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
    • A related design degree/diploma/certifications. In the absence of a degree/diploma, exceptional work experience will also be considered.
    • The years of experience and education would relate to the level of the role.
    • Proven UI design experience, including multimedia, graphic and print design. Strong proficiency and working knowledge on design and multimedia software, including the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and Sketch. As well as video editing software.
    • Multimedia experience that includes motion graphics using Adobe animation packages, HTML5, Javascript/Jquery and Flash Actionscript 3.
    • Have an excellent understanding of file formats, file transfers and optimizations.
    • Understanding of multi-platform layouts and standards and experience designing across devices.
    • Understanding of persuasion, emotion and trust design techniques.
    • Experience in agile environments, working with multi-disciplinary teams is a plus.
    • Understanding of User Experience methods is a plus, but not required. The Designer will be working very closely with UX Designers in the team, and will from time-to-time be asked to work on UX methods with the team.
