    Logistics Claims Specialist (Domestic) - 12 Months Fixed Term Contract

    Your Opportunity

    • Logistics Claims Management: processing returns by receiving the notification, identifying the solution, securing authorization to proceed and implementing. Resolving abnormal returns by identifying the issue and implementing the corrective action and updating the system and facilitating the credit movement of the stock.
    • Cost Management and Reporting: Reducing Logistics Claims freight costs by agreed or set targets per period. Internal and external reporting on Logistics Claims, tracking of trends and building actionable insights.
    • Customer query administration: Resolving customer queries and logistics claims and reporting report pricing issues
    • Relationship Management: Developing an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the customer and 3PL’s systems, processes, key performance indicators and ways of working in order to drive an efficient claims process.
    • Know the legal and compliance responsibilities of the position; raise questions and concerns when faced with, or you learn of, an ethical or compliance issue.

    Who you are

    Qualifications and experience:

    • NQF 5/6 in logistics or similar
    • 3 to 5 years in customer experience in logistics or similar
    • ERP system knowledge

    Outbound Supply Chain Officer - Johannesburg

    Key Challenges

    • Logistics and Export Customer Services - Coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations, ensuring effective utilization of premises, assets, and communication channels. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, preparing reports for management, and handling general administration and filing. Utilizing logistics IT systems, you will optimize procedures and coordinate export logistics based on availability and requirements. Communication with service providers and customers is crucial to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction. You will also work closely with approved third-party transporters to meet customer requirements and compile export documents. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning and tracking the shipment of final products according to customer needs, as well as managing shipping costs, rates, and routing options to provide the best solution for clients.
    • Logistics Compliance and Regulations - Ensure compliance with all export regulations and legislation, including hazardous goods, IATA, IACSSP, IMO and FMC. Responsible for customer requests on proper classification, country of origin and customs valuation.
    • 3PL Management and Contract Management - Owning and managing all outbound logistics functions. This requires working closely with procurement and legal teams to ensure that supply chain operational requirements are met in contract drafting and negotiations. Additionally, the role involves supporting the selection of third-party logistics providers (3PL) by providing input on terms and reviewing them. Building relationships with 3PL stakeholders, addressing queries and raising concerns are also important aspects of the job. Finally, overseeing transporter suppliers, including discussions on service level agreements, route planning, and rates, is part of the responsibilities.
    • Finance and Project Management -  Controlling expenditure against budget, continuously seeking finance optimization opportunities and analyzing monthly financial performance with corrective actions. You will also be required to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and leading projects related to outbound operational efficiency.

    Who you are as our ideal candidate:

    • You have completed a NQF 6/7 qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Finance or similar.
    • You have at least 3 years experience in Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field with knowledge of Inventory Management.
    • Other requirements: Ability and willingness to travel.

    IT Validation Professional - Cape Town

    Key Challenges

    • This role will be situated within the Security, Quality and Compliance Chapter in Global Informatics and you will be also part of the Cape Town Informatics Team. The IT Validation Professional ensures compliance and integrity of validated computer systems, oversees protocol design, testing, change management, and provides end-user training. They safeguard system reliability and regulatory compliance, supporting essential organizational operations. Reporting to the Lead of the Computer Software Assurance (EMEA/Canada) Section, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
    • Leading IT validation and qualification for projects and systems maintenance, mainly for lab systems and software
    • Authoring and reviewing validation plans, reports and deliverable registries, and other related deliverables, records, and evidence
    • Review system documentation according to CSV corporate SOPs, and regulatory guidance
    • Consulting and supporting systems in scope regulators (e.g. EMA or FDA, applying CFR 21 FDA Part 11, Annex 11, ISO 13485:2016) for inspection and audit
    • Troubleshooting activities related to computer systems validation, such as root cause analysis, deviations, and system risk assessments
    • Support internal and external audit activities related to CSV
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures regarding computer software validation

    Who You Are

    Qualifications and Educational Requirements

    • Technical degree/certification in Computer Science or related field of study and/or 
    • 1-2 years experience in IT & Software Validation (CSV, GAMP 5, ISO 13485:2016), preferably in the healthcare environment.
    • Professional experience with validation in a laboratory environment (preferred)

    Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

    • Strong communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to present at all functional levels.
    • Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe) preferred, certification a plus.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to develop efficient validation processes for frequent releases.
    • Assertiveness, good stakeholder management skills and willingness to lead
    • Demonstrate analytical problem-solving skills, teamwork, and time management.
