• The purpose of the position is to provide a professional customer service by communicating effectively with the various stakeholders involved in the patient admission process.

CRITICAL OUTPUTS

• Confirm authorization for patient treatment
• Ensure updated clinical coding and assist with the case management process as required
• Interpretation and implementation of scheme benefit rules
• Administer pre-admission and admission process
• Administration of the creditors and invoices
• Assisting with reception and admission duties as necessary

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum requirement: Grade 12
• At least 2 years administration experience in a medical facility
• Understanding of medical schemes and admission processes required
• Knowledge of the AS400 system will be advantageous
• Must be able to use Microsoft Office / Outlook and have good typing skills

• The purpose of the position is to perform all nursing duties in accordance to the scope of practice as prescribed by the South African Nursing Council, while adhering to all facility policies and procedures.

CRITICAL OUTPUTS

• Support therapeutic and multi-disciplinary activities to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Ensure accurate medication administration.
• Ensure documentation is in accordance with the policy and within the legal framework.
• Actively maintain stock management processes.
• Ensure that the disposal of medical waste, human tissue and medicine is in accordance to OHS Regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• Diploma/Degree in nursing leading to qualification as Enrolled Nurse 
• SANC Registration as an Enrolled Nurse
• 2-3 years’ experience within a clinical environment
• Computer proficiency (MS Office) essential
• Surgical and Medical ward experience

• The purpose of the position is to perform all nursing duties in accordance to the scope of practice as prescribed by the South African Nursing Council, while adhering to all facility policies and procedures.

CRITICAL OUTPUTS

• Perform clinical rounds with doctors.
• Be responsible and accountable for the physical, social and emotional care of all patients allocated to you on any shift.
• To conduct hourly patient rounds, and ensure that doctor’s orders are carried out.
• Keep the doctor informed of test results received, changes in patient conditions and adverse reaction to treatment.
• Ensure that all patient needs are met by assessing needs, planning and implementing nursing care plan and continuous evaluation of efficacy of care rendered.
• To record all interactions and interventions with patients on the appropriate documentation. 

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12
• SANC Registration as Registered Nurse
• Diploma/Degree in nursing leading to qualification as Registered Nurse 
• 2-3 years experience as a Registered Nurse advantageous
• ACLS advantageous
• Computer proficiency (MS Office) essential
