    Category Channel Sales Development Executive

    A day in the life of a CDT Executive

    • Assist the CDT Manager in the implementation of the Category growth vision to ensure category sustainability and growth based on consumer, shopper and customer requirements.
    • Facilitate & co-ordinate the Integrated Commercial Plan process within the Business Unit and Sales.
    • Develop and maintain channel plans aligned with Marketing and sales priorities and in line with target objectives.
    • Develop expertise on various channels, in relation to the respective category, through active participation in sales activities and maintaining close relationships with the Customer Teams.
    • Coordinate the development of an aligned performance related TTS (trade spend) strategy to support priority initiatives.
    • Establish clear promotional guidelines by category and channel/customer and bring ideas about trade specific and tailor-made promotions in line with category & brand objectives.
    • Continuously evaluate the Return on investment of our trade spend to ensure effectiveness & efficiency.
    • Facilitate the Monthly Sales Review meeting (MSR)
    • Provide the sales view into the consensus demand (MSR) process with uplifts and ROI details.
    • Drive discussions on risk’s & opportunities and provide update on category/channel trends.
    • Be the conduit to articulate and ensure the execution of any GAP closing initiatives to achieve the commercial plan - Monthly Sales and Marketing Review meeting & Action Plan

    A day in the life of a Team Coordinator

    • Ensure that finished products are consistently manufactured meeting prescribed standards (compliant), on time and meeting consumer expectations
    • Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with the local laws striving for Zero accidents through continuous coaching on safety behaviors.
    • Elaborate and execute workforce development program that will provide appropriate flexibility of workforce and assets. Focus on material availability, finished goods quality, and on time delivery through optimal resource allocation
    • Lead a continuous improvement/employee involvement culture through NCE approach. Drive for excellence and support operators and staff in their tasks
    • Provide timely feedback and coaching to individuals and team in order to develop them to their full potential and to achieve objectives in accordance with NCE guidelines. Ensure succession plans and development - coaching of direct reports (where applicable) including development of specific training
    • Ensure ongoing smooth operation of factory through employee and industrial relations
    • Ensure the timely launch of new products to the Market as per agreement with the business unit   

    What will make you successful

    • 5 years experience in manufacturing or operations
    • Knowledge and understanding of SAP and production modules
    • University Qualification in Production Management/Operations/Engineering
    • Experience of 3 to 5 years leading people
    • FMCG advantageous

    Medical Delegate Nutrition

    The Medical Delegate will be responsible for ethically and science based building the image of and the role of Nestle Infant and Maternal Nutrition products in the 1st 1000 days, with Health Care Professionals and institutions, within a specified territory, in order to compliantly drive recommendation/advocacy /prescriptions for these products.

    A day in the life of a Medical Delegate:

    • Compliance: Using the Code Management system for the specific market as the guiding document for all daily activities, to assist the leadership team to ensure that all activities within the team and region, comply with the WHO International Code for the marketing of Breastmilk substitutes, Nestle Instructions and the local Code.    
    • Advocacy: Ensure increased advocacy towards Nestle Infant Nutrition and Maternal products and Nestle Nutrition services, when detailing to HCP’s and calling in HCI, through applying the acquired skills; incorporating the knowledge of Nestle and competitor products, the territory dynamics and HCP profile in the discussion with the HCP and also contribute to long-term, mutually beneficial relationships during these interactions.
    • Manage the assigned territory as per the requirements and guidelines set for Master data management/ HCP classification/ HCP and HCI segmentation, master schedule planning, HCP call rate, call strike rate, HCP surveys and gathering of data for insights that can drive the marketing- and territory action plans.
    • The creation and execution of a territory specific action plan to contribute to the outputs required by the national- and regional business plans.

    What will make you successful

    • Science related degree with Physiology/ Nutrition/ Medicine/Biology/ Pharmacology/Nursing/Food Sciences or other Human- or Nutrition science related field.      
    • 1-2 years’ experience as a Medical Delegate or similar position.
    • Fluent in both English (non-negotiable) and the locally acceptable languages
    • Valid Driver’s license,
    • Pharmaceutical experience (Ideal)
    • Can work in a multi-disciplinary team, can interact with people at different levels.
    • Be able to work in a team and independently.
