    Job Description

    • A specialised engineering plastics manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Toolmaker with strong injection moulding tooling expertise to manufacture, maintain, and repair precision tools within a fast-paced production environment.
    • The role requires strong mechanical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to support CNC programming and production engineering functions where required.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manufacture, maintain, and repair injection moulding tools to production standards
    • Modify and repair existing tooling to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime
    • Support production and engineering teams with tooling and technical requirements
    • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and tooling designs accurately
    • Assist with CNC programming and machining support where required
    • Ensure tooling meets precision and quality standards for production use
    • Work closely with manufacturing teams to support continuous production flow

    Requirements:

    • Qualified Toolmaker with 3–5 years’ relevant experience
    • Strong experience in injection moulding tooling (essential)
    • Background in manufacturing or engineering production environments
    • Experience with CNC machining processes advantageous
    • Exposure to Edgecam, HCAM, or CNC programming beneficial
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving ability
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
