    IM Field Trainer (JHB CBD)

    Description
    Daily Operations

    • Part-time product training of FSPs in-store on specific high-focus modules (70% of time to be in field developing other trainers and field force in region)
    • Full-time product training during launches
    • Merchandising, execution, blitz and sales
    • Finding of key market insights to share with client
    • Assisting with the compilation of weekly training reports
    • Overseeing of compliance of data capturing for training team on both MCS and REX and driving of sales targets.
    • Weekly store auditing of staff and identification of improvement actions, both individual and collective, evaluating and measuring the effectiveness of training
    • Cross-checking of trainers EMT planners, MCS call plans and blue call diaries to ensure optimal coverage and ensure that they are updated 30 days in advance, meeting the minimum requirements
    • Manage own career development and value-add to team by staying abreast of any technical and industry changes, especially those of competitors

    Manage Sales

    • Training of store staff on Ecosystem, devices and current deals
    • Assisting and supporting of store sales staff to drive sales
    • Identify need for promotions to increase sales and negotiate with store manager
    • Customer conversion from other brands to Samsung
    • Upselling Samsung devices
    • Assisting with new device set ups and smart switch
    • Drive slow moving stock

    Teamwork And Communication

    • Build sound relationships with, RHMs, RMs, PCs, Blitz, trainers, FSPs and store management.
    • Driving overall hub KPIs in terms of both training and sales, subject to change with businessobjectives
    • Display sound teamwork in working closely with others to achieve shared goals, for examplein blitz training sessions, training workshops, weekly meetings etc
    • Ensure effective knowledge and best-practice sharing in terms of training techniques andstrategies in field between trainers and from one’s own expertise
    • Monitor and report on improvements in the quality of data captured as well as on-timeproject completion by the training team

    Client Interaction and Training Facilitation

    • Conducting assessments with the field force and FSP’s to gauge knowledge retention
    • Driving of field forces and FSP’s Training
    • On-the-job training of other trainers in the region
    • Assist with arranging of training logistics (equipment, venues, resources etc) when necessary.
    • Identify geographical areas associated with training needs based on ROI and future potential,areas without coverage etc.

    Shared Services Support

    • Manage employee disciplinary matters and grievances
    • Effective management of cash cards and fuel cards usage
    • Collaborate with the OI team for compliance management, tracking and corrective action,
    • Database management and analysis
    • Manage Employee onboarding and offboarding
    • Effective administration
    • Reporting on competitor activities
    • Prepare training reports & registers
    • Ensure resolution of training related challenges in region

    Requirements

    • 1-3 years of training experience, 3 years training experience in the telecommunications industry

    Finance Business Partner I (Cape Town)

    Our organisation is looking for a Finance Business Partner to act as a strategic financial advisor and analyst for assigned business areas, providing in-depth financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support business leaders in making informed decisions and driving financial performance and profitability. The role also includes oversight of the financial accounting function to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

    As a Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for:

    Financial Planning and Budgeting:

    • Lead the compilation of annual budgets and forecasts for specific business units, collaborating directly with business leaders.

    Forecasting and Performance Analysis:

    • Independently prepare and submit comprehensive monthly and quarterly financial forecasts, ensuring accuracy and accountability across the business.

    Financial Insight and Strategic Reporting: 

    • Develop and present robust financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to business unit leaders, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable business recommendations.

    Business Partnering and Stakeholder Liaison:

    • Serve as the primary financial contact and trusted advisor for assigned business units, addressing financial issues and queries proactively.

    Commercial Input:

    • Review commercial terms within project proposals and contracts, identifying any clauses that could negatively impact profitability or expose the business to undue financial risk. This includes advising on payment terms, penalty clauses, and scope creep implications.

    Risk Management: 

    • Proactively identify and assess financial risks within assigned business areas, highlighting potential impacts (e.g., dissolution, notice periods, bad debts).

    Teamwork and Self-management:

    • Provide financial oversight, guidance and direction to direct reports, as well as continuous coaching and feedback as required.

    Requirements
    What are we looking for?

    To qualify for this role, you should have:

    • 4-5 year’s experience, BCom Accounting degree at NQF level 7 or equivalent. 
    • Post-graduate qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, MBA). Audit experience an advantage
