    Senior Buyer

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Develop a comprehensive Camping strategy/plan to drive growth across the department in sales, brands, suppliers and new product listings
    • Plan to develop and drive growth across the department in sales, brands, suppliers and new product listings
    • Drive innovation by sourcing and prioritizing new brands and suppliers according to this growth plan and in line with market trends and consumer demand 
    • Deliver against key financial and service level performance indicators within the department (sales, margin, listings availability, stock cover etc.)
    • Manage and develop supplier relationships, negotiate good prices, improve trading terms and manage suppliers according to strict SLAs
    • Develop a promotional programme, source great deals and manage site merchandising for the department
    • Support the operations team in delivering a world-class customer experience – monitor department returns, support the customer service team on product queries and resolving any customer complaints
    • Manage stock and availability (including replenishment orders, stock cover)
    • Deliver on customer experience within the department (ensuring products are delivered on time, supplier terms are aligned, product quality is managed etc.)

    Qualification & Experience:

    • 5 years related retail buying / commerce / e-commerce experience.
    • Experience in Camping or outdoor
    • National Diploma / Bachelor's Degree (Business Science or Commerce degree preferable).
    • If the Degree / Diploma qualification requirement isn't met, at least 8 years related retail / commerce / e-commerce experience will be required.
    • Strong commercial acumen.
    • Existing industry networks a significant plus.

    Superbalist Customer Service 2IC

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Day to day operations which include but are not limited to allocating workload to Online Fashion Assistants, such as: response times to customers, telephony call flow distribution and escalating systemic issues
    • Supplying of operational reports on a daily basis
    • Assisting Team Leader with adhoc project related tasks
    • Escalating IR Related Concerns to Team Leaders.
    • Assisting the Team Leaders in terms of coaching and skills development
    • Assisting staff members with complex queries
    • Proactively identify, address and resolve customer issues
    • Identify, review and propose solutions to issues identified or picked up during the course of performing day to day duties
    • Oversee a team of individuals when Team Leaders are not available as well as managing a team during festive season
    • Flexibility to work shifts - able to work rotating shifts, Public Holidays, weekends and flexible hours as required by the business operation

    Qualifications and experience:

    • Senior Certificate or Higher
    • Minimum of 12 - 18 months customer service experience in related positions.
    • MS Office suite - Word – basic; Excel – intermediate; and PowerPoint basic would be advantageous

    DC Manager : Inbound

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Manage and ensure that all INBOUND (Supplier Collects, Putaway, Receiving, Unloading and Yard Control) departments are well organised and controlled to sufficiently support production and the goals of the business
    • Implement improvement processes and maintain procedures and systems to minimise costs and maximize working capital
    • Ensuring all work areas are clean and tidy and safe for staff to work in
    • Overall management and coordination of the warehousing function
    • Operate an efficient Inbound department by identifying, implementing and managing optimal processes and procedures
    • Responsible for efficiently managing all aspects of stock handling within the realm of the job
    • Ensure daily, weekly and monthly planning is done for all inbound operations and manage adherence to plan
    • Effective management of housekeeping
    • Ensure efficient security and optimum storage conditions for all TAKEALOT’s product lines
    • Management of resources to be effective and efficient at lowest cost and according to changing needs
    • Effective leadership and direction for the operation team through involvement and communication to deliver on the relevant key business drivers
    • Constantly seeking new ways to improve the DC efficiency and cost effectiveness
    • Manage weekly and daily inter-branch transfers (IBT) from an inbound perspective
    • Manage customer liaison process and ensure that DC queries are resolved timeously and exception trends are addressed
    • Ensure that DC space, equipment and DC flow is optimized and that future DC requirements are planned
    • Ensure accurate inventory records are maintained
    • Support stock takes and support the analysis of stock take results
    • Measure and manage staff performance through formal staff appraisals, development, coaching and disciplinary procedures
    • Ensure that all business processes, procedures and job profiles are documented and updated
    • Management reporting in terms of operational performance, productivity, stock control and budgets
    • Participate in annual budget process and long-term planning and control monthly operational costs to stay within budget
    • Manage projects according to stipulated time frames
    • Liaising with retail and marketplace buyers and sellers
    • Measure and manage staff through formal staff appraisals, development, coaching and disciplinary procedures, succession planning

    Qualification & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree / National Diploma in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or Logistics required
    • 8-10 years’ experience in Supply Chain Operations
    • 5 years’ experience in operational project management
    • 5+ years’ experience in directly managing people to deliver continuous improvement (Lean principles, 5S, multiskilling, cost saving drives)
    • Decision-Making
    • Personnel Supervisor
