    Senior Business Analyst (eCommerce)

    Job Objectives    
    • Information Seeking & Analysis

    • Perform high-level analysis activities in the CE cycle (assisting to unpack Features, identify high-level impacts and dependencies etc.) at a Senior / Specialist proficiency level.
    • Understand, analyse and identify areas for improvement in the current business environment and across other shared process/system business environments.
    • Operate confidently within and make contributions where appropriate to business strategy, current trends and developments in the retail industry.
    • Operate confidently within the multiple domains, integrated systems and operational processes and make relevant connections across domains. Consider the enterprise-wide solutions and impacts. Handle new domains with the same confidence as familiar domains.
    • Operate confidently within multiple current and potential integrated systems and E2E business processes.
    • Analyse, understand and take a new perspective on customers (Internal and external) and multiple domain impacts through the use of user journeys, research and/or spending time in the various operational areas.
    • Collaborate with user stakeholders in the identification and documentation of user requirements.
    • Assess and document the business implication of user requirements to the business process involved.
    • Propose and document process improvements where appropriate and provide alternatives / options.

    • Taking ownership to provide knowledge within specific area and identify possible improvement within the team. This includes interviews, presentations and workshop facilitations with both business & IT.
    • Works closely with Architects, Designers and Business stakeholders to evaluate suggested solutions.
    • Advise on alternatives presented by the technical designers and providing recommendations regarding the business design.
    • Lead others to advance objectives of the organisation.
    • Influencing stakeholders (within IT and Business) to consider solutions which will work best for the business.
    • Persuade stakeholders to change practises and consider other alternatives.
    • Coaching and mentoring for the Junior and Intermediate BA resources on business analysis processes and delivery.

    Qualifications    

    • Degree with 5 to 8 years related experience.
    • Advanced BA certification, CBAP, AAC or similar

    Experience    
    5 to 8 years experience in:

    • Experience working within all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
    • Business Process Management experience
    • Experience in Business Analysis for large projects or programs of work
    • Experience in Retail, Supply Chain/Fulfillment or Omni-channel initiatives

    Knowledge and Skills    

    • Commercial and business understanding of the broader eCommerce and retail services industry
    • Operate at an Expert level in terms of methods used to analyze and benchmark business cases, which will align with the business strategies of the organisation (including feasibility and business benefits).
    • Research and identify opportunities to improve the business' offering and add value to our customers through the solutions we provide.

    Senior Data Scientist

    Job Objectives    

    • Work in a cross-functional team, collaborating with fellow data scientists, engineers, and analysts to understand project goals, interpret end-users intent and drive the build, implementation and scale-up of algorithms for measurable impact.
    • Understand and use ANN's, CNN's, RNN's, autoencoders, fundamental data science concepts (linear and logistic regression,SVM's, dimensionality reduction), decision trees, gradient boosting, ensemble models, etc. to develop machine learning models.

    QA Engineer II

    Job Objectives    
    1. Test case/script generation and review:

    • Identify what to test by translating non-functional and business requirements into testable test plans and test scripts.
    • Identify and document key test scenarios.
    • Document or automate the test script using the performance testing tool.
    • Determine the prerequisites.
    • Determine the test criteria.
    • Record the expected results.
    • Review final test scripts with QA Engineer lead.
    • Obtain sign-off.

    2. Test prerequisites compilation:

    • Identify required test materials.
    • Obtain test material, e.g. test data.
    • Identify the required test environment.
    • Ensure test environment setup, e.g. test server access and test logins.
    • Prepare test results pack for results recording and sign-off.

    3. Test execution and recording:

    • Execute the automated scripts.
    • Record test results.
    • Compare actual results against expected results and debug any script failures.

    4. Maintenance of high quality and accuracy:

    • Understand the application under test and ensure that it meets the necessary expectations as defined by business.
    • Ensure Quality Assurance of all testing activities.
    • Maintain test documentation to reflect current system operations.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
    • Support improvement of the testing processes and initiatives.
    • Continued maintenance and upkeep of the performance testing scripts that form part of the performance regression pack.

    5. Test status updates:

    • Provide feedback to the development team and ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and the performance requirements.
    • Inform management of any negative trends in the performance of software in pre-production.
    • Provide estimates and feedback to the Team Lead for project scheduling purposes.
    • Ensure effective communication with key stakeholders.
    • Prepare and maintain test tracking reports.

    6. Test closure activities:

    • Ensure test completion - no outstanding high-risk issues, defects have been fixed and retested or deferred or accepted as permanent restrictions.
    • Handover test artifacts to people who need it in the future, e.g. maintenance or support teams.
    • Participate in project retrospectives and contribute and document lessons learned
    • Archive test work products, like test results, test logs, test status reports etc.

    Qualifications
