    People Business Partnering Team Administrator

    • Responsible for the effective and efficient management of administrative and coordination activities across the People Business Partnering Team (People Experience, Corporate Functions, Rewards & People Shared Services, People Technology Enablement & Digital Solutions & Employee Relations).
    • Beyond core administrative support, this role plays an active part in enabling the delivery of team priorities by providing project coordination, supporting execution of key initiatives, and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.     WHAT YOU WILL DO

    Workplace Experience Student

    • Tiger Brands Home & Personal Care is seeking a highly motivated Work Experience Student to gain practical exposure within the Quality Department. The successful candidate will support Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Laboratory, and Quality Systems activities while developing valuable technical and professional skills within a leading FMCG manufacturing environment.
    • The programme provides structured workplace learning and hands-on exposure to quality management systems, laboratory operations, continuous improvement initiatives, compliance requirements, and manufacturing quality processes.

    Key Responsibilities

    Quality Laboratory Support

    • Perform sampling and testing of incoming raw materials against approved specifications and Certificates of Conformance (COC’s).
    • Support testing of bulk batches to verify compliance with product specifications.
    • Conduct on-line quality control checks during manufacturing processes.
    • Assist with calibration and verification of laboratory measurement and testing equipment.
    • Maintain material retention and reference samples.
    • Support water sampling, water testing, and quality monitoring activities.

    Minimum Requirements

    National Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Degree in:

    Engineering Manager: Hennenman

    • To ensure that the Manufacturing Unit is maintained in accordance with agreed maintenance standards resulting in improved plant efficiency and availability.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    Asset Management:

    • Develop and deploy the asset management strategy
    • Conduct plant, equipment inspections and audits providing reports on findings
    • Ensure facility plans are updated, available and adhered to.
    • Ensure modifications are completed in-accordance set specifications
    • Maintain records of all modifications
    • Life cycle costing and analysis of unit assets to determine replacement

    Corporate Governance:

    • Tenders, comparative quotations, Requests for Resolution, Third Party Service Provider contracts.
    • Work within a set of systems, principles and processes by which the company is governed.
    • Assess tenders and decide on suppliers/service providers to be utilised, ensuring that costs are within budget availability.

    Safety, Health & Environmental:

    • Implement and maintain all  Risk requirements as per the OHAS Act 85/1993, Tiger Milling internal System and Insurer requirements
    • Ensure that all statutory inspections are adhered to
    • Urgently address and close out all findings as per the insurers ASIB report
    • Scaffolding, ladders, stairways and ramps are on register, checked 3 monthly and signed off.
    • Earth leakage tests are done 3 monthly and electrical installation is in good condition numbered, traceable and Certificate of electrical Compliance are on file. Portable electrical equipment is recorded on register, inspected 3 monthly and signed off by Site Engineer.
    • Transformers serviced annually and all findings addressed without delay.
    • Minimise waste
    • Conduct audits and implement corrective action plan.
    • Chairs Safety committee meetings
    • Marsh Alexander Forbes Risk and Environmental Compliance.
    • Initiate programs to continuously reduce Disabling Injury Frequency Rates.
    • Effective PPE used according to standard procedures

    Despatch Controller

    • To manage and control all dispatch operations within the bakery, ensuring that customer deliveries, daily route vehicles, inter-depot transfers, and inter-bakery shipments are loaded accurately, dispatched on time, and supported by complete and accurate documentation. The Dispatch Controller is responsible for maintaining service levels, minimizing losses, controlling stock movements, and leading the dispatch team to achieve operational excellence.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:
    Dispatch Operations Management

    • Plan, coordinate, and control the daily dispatch operation.
    • Ensure all route vehicles are loaded and dispatched according to delivery schedules.
    • Manage inter-depot and inter-bakery stock transfers to ensure product availability across the network.

    • Monitor returns and ensure correct processing of returned stock.
    • Maintain inventory accuracy within the dispatch area.

    Fleet and Transport Coordination

    • Coordinate truck loading sequences and dispatch schedules.
    • Monitor vehicle availability and loading readiness.
    • Ensure inter-depot transfer vehicles are loaded according to transfer orders.
    • Liaise with transport providers and distribution teams regarding delays or operational issues.
    • Monitor vehicle turnaround times and loading efficiency.

    Team Leadership and Supervision

    • Supervise Dispatch Clerks and Loaders.
