    Travel Assistant - (ADM-L4.16)

    • The Travel Assistant provides efficient, accurate, and policy-compliant travel coordination services to internal and/or external clients of Zutari.
    • The role is responsible for processing travel bookings in accordance with Zutari travel guidelines and policies, ensuring cost-effective solutions, managing documentation, and delivering high-quality customer service.
    • Operates within defined procedures, applies sound judgement and contributes to operational effectiveness through attention to detail and proactive client communication.

    Role Responsibilities

    Travel Booking & Coordination 

    • Process and respond promptly to all travel requests in line with traveller requirements. 
    • Ensure all bookings (flights, accommodation, transport) are accurate and completed within prescribed turnaround times. 
    • Apply fare knowledge to source the most cost-effective travel options. 
    • Utilise preferred suppliers in accordance with company agreements. 

    Client Service & Advisory 

    • Inform travellers upfront of all destination-specific travel requirements (e.g., documentation, regulations). 
    • Build confidence with travellers through clear, professional communication. 
    • Proactively monitor industry updates (e.g., travel disruptions, regulatory changes) and advise clients accordingly. 
    • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through quality and responsiveness. 

    Documentation & Compliance 

    • Review and verify all travel documents for accuracy, completeness, and quality. 
    • Process visa requirements where applicable. 
    • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and travel compliance requirements. 
    • Maintain and update traveller profiles, escalating changes where necessary. 

    Operational Efficiency & Systems Usage 

    • Effectively use travel booking systems and tools to enhance productivity. 
    • Maintain task queues (e.g., “to-do list”) and clear them at defined intervals throughout the day. 
    • Continuously apply technology to improve turnaround times and service delivery. 

    Financial & Administrative Support 

    • Collate and verify supplier invoices to be processed.
    • Ensure financial documentation is complete and aligned with company procedures. 

    Risk Management & Reporting 

    • Identify and report incidents affecting travellers in a timely manner. 
    • Escalate issues to the line manager and follow guidance for resolution. 
    • Ensure traveller safety and compliance with travel risk protocols. 

    Qualifications  

    • Matric/National Senior Certificate - Essential
    • National Diploma in Travel and Tourism or a Certificate in Travel and Tourism – Essential

    Experience    

    • Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in Travel desk management. 
    • Proven experience Global Distribution System Amadeus. 
    • In-depth understanding of airline fare rules, corporate travel needs 

    Skills  

    • Ms Office Proficiency - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 
    • Communication skills: Clearly conveys travel requirements, updates, and solutions to clients and stakeholders.  
    • Technical & Systems Proficiency: Competently uses travel systems, tools, and processes to enhance operational effectiveness. This is inclusive of Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Travelport and Sabre. 
    • Customer Service Orientation: Delivers responsive, professional, and client-focused service, ensuring positive travel experiences. 
    • Compliance & Policy Adherence: Understands and applies organisational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements consistently.

    Proposal Engineer - (BD-L7.4)

    Role overview

    • The Proposal Manager role provides operational, coordination, and administrative support to the Business Development Director. process. The role focuses on pipeline tracking, proposal coordination, client research, and bid support, ensuring efficient execution of the sales process.
    • This role does not own client relationships or originate opportunities but enables the business development team to operate effectively by ensuring high-quality submissions, accurate reporting, and timely coordination across internal and external stakeholders. 

    Role responsibilities

    Bid Management & Proposal Delivery – Primary Focus

    • Lead and coordinate end-to-end bid processes for assigned opportunities.
    • Translate RFPs and ToRs into structured, compliant, high-quality proposals.
    • Develop proposal outlines, compliance matrices, win themes, and value propositions.
    • Drive inputs from technical, commercial, legal, and partner teams.
    • Maintain proposal tools, templates, CVs, project sheets, case studies, and standard bid content.
    • Ensure proposals are submitted on time and in line with client requirements

    Pipeline & Opportunity Management

    • Maintain and track the Resources Business Unit pipeline.
    • Apply structured qualification criteria to support go/no-go decisions.
    • Report on pipeline health, deadlines, risks, values, probabilities, and next actions.
    • Support opportunity shaping through research, positioning inputs, and internal coordination.
    • Maintain accurate opportunity data in Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems and trackers.

    Client & Market Engagement

    • Support client engagement planning, preparation, and follow-up.
    • Conduct client, market, competitor, and project research.
    • Develop client and project intelligence packs to support BD decision-making.
    • Identify new opportunities and log these for review by the Business Development Director.
    • Prepare briefing notes, meeting agendas, and follow-up action trackers.

    Technical Business Development Contribution

    • Contribute to technical positioning by translating client needs into relevant Zutari solutions.
    • Support preparation of project references, capability statements, team structures, and CV selections.
    • Engage with technical teams to ensure proposal content reflects delivery capability.
    • Support client-facing technical discussions where required and under BD leadership guidance.
    • Assist with the setup of technical teams for bids and early-stage opportunities.

    Commercial & Strategy Support

    • Support pricing strategies by coordinating assumptions, exclusions, resource inputs, and commercial information.
    • Assist in implementing growth strategies and business development priorities.
    • Support preparation of commercial governance documentation.
    • Contribute to business development process improvement, tools, templates, and reporting systems.
    • Participate in win/loss reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.

    Internal Coordination & Utilisation

    • Act as an interface between business development and technical teams to ensure timely information flow.
    • Support resource mobilisation for proposals and early-stage opportunities.
    • Track actions, responsibilities, deadlines, and dependencies across bid teams.
    • Support utilisation through agreed technical, proposal, and business development tasks.
    • Coordinate with Sales Enablement, technical teams, commercial teams, and leadership as required.

    Minimum requirements

    • 5–10 years’ experience in mining, oil, gas or consulting
    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering / Quantity Surveying
    • Professional registration
    • Experience supporting EOIs, RFQs, and RFP submissions
    • Exposure to proposal preparation, document management, and bid processes
    • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (technical, commercial, legal)
    • Familiarity with CRM systems, tender portals, and proposal tools advantageous
    • Experience in mining, oil, gas, infrastructure, or related sectors advantageous

    People Business Partner - (HR-L8.6)

    Role responsibilities

    • Managing and supporting the alignment of Zutari’s people strategy with business strategy.
    • Working together with management and employees to solve conflicts and help facilitate positive employee relations, maintain a good working environment, build morale, and decrease unwanted attrition.
    • Help business markets become future-ready by focusing on the existing workforce in the market and prepare them for the future.
    • Reskilling and upskilling by identifying training needs and assist the LearnX team in aligning training programs with business objectives.
    • Strategic workforce planning to ensure the markets workforce has the right size, shape, cost, and agility for the future.
    • Succession planning by selecting and develop key talent to ensure there are talents to fill in critical roles.
    • Provide guidance on the creation and implementation of people processes and policies.

    Minimum requirements

    • Degree or diploma in relevant People / HR field
    • Minimum of at least 6 or more years’ experience in Human Resources Management, or as a People Business Partner preferable within a professional or consulting services environment.
    • Working knowledge of different human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organisational structuring, employee relations, CCMA experience, diversity, performance management and basic project management.
    • Lead and / or manage specific HR projects and programmes
    • Must have strong ability to build relationship at various levels within the firm.
    • Excellent knowledge of S.A Labour law.
    • Business acumen in understanding finance principles, risk and reward, and business outcomes.
    • Great communication and presentation and problem-solving skills

    Senior BIM Manager - (BIM-L7.9)

    Role overview

    • The BIM Manager will manage the Civil 3D coordination, model management, and Autodesk Forma workflows across Zutari EX projects. Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud – ACC) provides a unified industry cloud across planning, design, construction, and operations. This role ensures consistent, high-quality civil digital delivery while developing team capability and supporting lifecycle-aligned workflows. 

    Role responsibilities

    • Lead and standardise Civil 3D coordination across disciplines 
    • Drive Autodesk Forma adoption across planning, design, and coordination 
    • Define digital delivery strategies for projects 
    • Provide multi-project coordination oversight 
    • Line manage and develop Civil BIM Coordinators 
    • Own standards, templates, and automation initiatives 
    • Act as SME in client engagements 

    Minimum requirements

    • 8-12+ years in civil infrastructure digital delivery 
    • Advanced Autodesk Civil 3D expertise 
    • Strong understanding of Autodesk Forma (formerly ACC) 
    • Experience in multi-disciplinary coordination 
    • Knowledge of ISO 19650 principles 
    • Leadership or mentoring experience
