Requirements

Required qualifications, skills and experience

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Experience working with young people and communities will be an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for community development and youth empowerment.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel within communities.
• Fluent in English and one additional South African language relevant to the programme area.

• Support and supervise Peer Influencers and mentors.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and referral networks.
• Monitor programme performance, reporting, and data quality.
• Coordinate community-based activities, workshops, and outreach initiatives.
• Support implementing partners through mentoring and capacity building.

Requirements

Required qualifications, skills and experience

• Degree in Social Science, Public Health, or related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience managing target-driven health or youth programmes.
• Knowledge of HIV prevention, SRHR, and Gender-Based Violence programmes.
• Strong leadership, planning, communication, and networking skills.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Fluent in English and one additional South African language.
