    Key Responsibilities:

    Supervisor Bakery Promotions

    Duties Include:

    • Improve bakery sales through the planning, coordination, management and execution of instore promotional activities, pro-mobile activations and other brand activities in line with the company SOP’s and brand plans and targets by:
    • Engaging with the relevant sales representatives or sales persons to support activities at targeted stores requiring promotional activities
    • Agreement and management of promoter schedules, stock requirements and promoter materials (POS) as per checklists and brand CI standards
    • Agreement of number of promoters required per event /store
    • Briefing/ training of promoters in collaboration with the corporate promotions coordinator
    • Ensuring promoters wear uniforms according to agreed uniform guidelines
    • Ensuring mascot and promotional material kit is kept clean and in good repair
    • Tracking, reporting achievement against plan for the above
    • Identify areas for improvement
    • Coordinate and manage Schools Programmes at local schools as per agreed plans and budget with the relevant stakeholders.
    • Support CSI projects identified by the sales team or brand ambassador by arranging the required resources and materials needed according to the company SOP and procedures for donations.
    • Optimise promotions return on investment by ensuring cost control of all promotional give-away items and stock in line with agreed budget and free stock limits.
    • Supervise and manage promotional team performance in line with Premier leadership promise, agreed targets, KPI’s and people processes to ensure high performance and cost-effective execution.
    • Ensure continuous improvement of promotional activations by tracking, reporting, analysing sales activation costs against past performance and estimate potential for growth.
    • Support promobile / fleet excellence by reporting any faults with the truck or sound system to the relevant manager

    Maintenance Manager

    What will you do:

    Ensure high performance culture and teamwork in the maintenance team by:

    • building and motivating capability though competency-based selection training and development, coaching, mentoring, performance management effective communications leading and participating in Invocoms and/ meetings ensuring a conducive and safe working environment in line with Premier way.
    • To ensure adherence to preventative maintenance plan and system by the maintenance team as per Premier procedures and standards in collaboration with the bakery manager.
    • To ensure full statutory compliance to all health and safety, food safety and OSHACT requirements in line with Premier standards and SOP’s by ensuring training of relevant persons, audits and corrective action of all findings.
    • To ensure baking process delivers quality products within specifications in collaboration with the production manager by: ensuring adherence to baking equipment parameters monitoring baking process
    • Identifying exceptions and variations
    • Performing route cause to address and correct them.
    • To support cost effective operations by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, increased efficiencies, cost saving or quality improvements in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders through regular benchmarking and identification of best practices.
    • To procure, manage and control essential spares, stock, consumables and tools in line with budget and lead team requirements in order minimize down time and support continuous bakery operations.
    • To plan and organize resources to support the execution of preventative maintenance, breakdowns, support for projects, inspections and audits and day to day operations in line with budget and targets for the team

    Qualification Requirements

    • Qualified Artisan (Electrician/ Millwright)
    • N4 in Electrical Engineering
    • Chamber of Baking process certificate
    • N6 Electrical Engineering (dependent on statutory plant specific requirements)

    Experience Requirements

    • Maintenance Manager at a Bakery 5-7 year
    • Mechanical Engineering experience 3-5 years
    • Working with plant related PLC and robotics 3-5 years
    • MS Office skills
    • Planning and organizing skills
    • Asset management system (eg C-works, Pragma)
    • Budgeting and cost control
    • Project management
    • Lean Six sigma or related

    • A degree will be a distinct added advantage
    • Qualified PCO officer with valid registered P number.

    • Technical and Milling environment 2-3 years - Essential
    • Grain Milling experience 2-3 years - Desirable
    • FMCG at operational level 2-3 years - Essential
    • Supervisory experience 2-3 years – Essential
