    What does this role do?

    Recruitment Specialist

    What We’re Looking For:

    • A process-driven individual who thrives in a metrics-based environment.
    • Someone who can handle high-volume recruitment with patience and precision.
    • Strong understanding of both internal and external recruitment processes.

    Head of Production and Education

    What does this role do?

    The Head of Production and Education is responsible for:

    • Leading and managing the PED team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Driving the development of new and innovative educational offerings while maintaining and improving existing ones.
    • Overseeing the department’s strategic objectives, projects, targets, and tasks to deliver meaningful educational outcomes.
    • Managing departmental resources, including budgeting, workflow optimization, and team capacity building.
    • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and delivery of objectives.
    • Continuously refining processes and workflows to exceed industry best practices.

    What experience is preferred?

    • Proven experience in leading teams and managing projects in educational content development or a similar field.

    • Familiarity with learning management systems and academic content creation tools (e.g., LaTeX, Efofex).
    • Strong budgeting and resource management skills, with experience in optimizing ROI for departmental initiatives.
    • Knowledge of video hosting, payroll systems, and data analysis tools is advantageous.

    Chocolatier

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and present a variety of pastries and desserts using high-quality chocolate, following Jack Rabbit’s signature recipes and standards.
    • Explore new pastry and chocolate combinations, bringing creativity and innovation to the team.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and pastry section.
    • Work closely with the production team to assist with large-scale chocolate-based recipes.
    • Help with the preparation, baking, and decoration of pastries for retail and wholesale orders.
    • Support the creation of seasonal and special product lines.
    • Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and quality control processes.
    • Stay up to date with the latest trends in pastry and chocolate, and share your new ideas with the team.
    • Use Culinary Equipment correctly and efficiently
    • Report production on a daily basis
    • Must be flexible and willing to work under pressure

    Required Skills & Experience:

    • A strong passion for pastry making and working with chocolate.
    • A creative mindset with a willingness to experiment and try new techniques.
    • Some experience in a pastry kitchen is ideal, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage your time effectively.

    Business Strategy Specialist Coach and Facilitator

    What does this role do?

    • The successful candidate will be a full-time business coach, working from our offices and seeing entrepreneurs at our offices. 
    • You will receive a portfolio of entrepreneurs who you will need to grow, guide and develop throughout the course of their journey with Raizcorp.
    • This is not consultancy work, but rather a carefully designed program akin to a coaching intervention.
    • We will provide you with a qualification in the coaching methodology, which is internationally recognised. 
    • You will not do for the entrepreneur, but rather help them do for themselves. 
    • You will also be required to facilitate classes on business and strategy to groups of entrepreneurs, and for these sessions you will need to be fluent in Zulu.  We will also train you on group facilitation skills.

    What experience is preferred?

    • Strong experience over at least four different industries. 
    • You should be educated and experienced in business strategy. 
    • You do not need to be an experienced coach – we will give you detailed, world-class training to help you be able to effectively coach entrepreneurs. 
    • You do need to have a real interest in learning how to be a coach and helping people uncover their own potential.
    • Languages required include English and Zulu. 

    Minimum Requirements

    • Commerce related tertiary qualification is essential.
    • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in business (a blend of corporate and your own business)
    • Must have some Entrepreneurial Experience - you must have had your own business (non-negotiable) at some point during your career.
    • Able to Empathise with the journey of the entrepreneur.
    • Strong Business Acumen with a good understanding of all facets of business
    • Fluent Zulu language speaker
    • Fluent English language speaker
    • Real exposure and experience in at least four industries throughout your career.  A strategy Guide has a very well-rounded background experience to bring to the able. 
    • An in-depth understanding of business strategy, sales, and finance. 
    • Able to positively impact turnover, profitability, and personal growth of entrepreneurs.
    • Driver’s licence and own car
    • Strong empathy and a deep understanding of working with people. 
    • Experience in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and using various in-house systems.  You must be strongly computer literate as the work is performed over various systems.
