    Receptionist The Hills

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Plan, prepare and present interesting and exciting Receptionist.
    • Establish a teaching environment that is nurturing, and which promotes engaged learning.
    • Behave in a professional manner regarding punctuality, behaviour, standards of work and students’ homework.
    • Evaluate, reflect on, and refine teaching practice.
    • Be open to continuously developing ones teaching through personal and school wide professional development.
    • Teach extra lessons, when required, on two afternoons per week.
    • Produce resources of a high standard for students.
    • Respond to e-mails and telephone messages from parents within 24 hours.
    • Show loyalty to all facets of Reddford House.
    • Attend all special occasions at the discretion of the Head.
    • Set and mark exams and all other forms of student evaluation.
    • Write report comments.
    • The post holder is required to undertake any other reasonable tasks that the School Head/line manager determines.

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

    • A skilled receptionist plays a pivotal role in the smooth functioning of any organization, serving as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees. To excel in this role, a receptionist should possess a diverse skill set that goes beyond just answering phones and greeting guests.
    • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication is crucial. Must be able to convey information clearly and professionally to a variety of individuals.
    • Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service is paramount. Always be friendly, patient, and empathetic when dealing with inquiries and requests.
    • Organization: Managing appointments, schedules, and administrative tasks requires strong organizational skills. Being able to multitask efficiently is also essential.
    • Problem-Solving: At times we encounter unexpected situations and should be adept at finding solutions quickly.
    • Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in office software, email, and familiarity with phone systems is vital for daily tasks.
    • Adaptability: The ability to adapt to different situations and remain composed under pressure is crucial.
    • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in recording information, taking messages, and handling administrative duties is important.
    • Professionalism: A receptionist represents the organization, so maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor is essential.

    ELS Deputy Head The Hills

    • Excellent preparation and planning
    • Assessment of student outcomes and feedback to enhance performance
    • Genuine care and attention for the highest standards of student welfare
    • A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience with students in a secondary school and post 16
    • Confidence with use of ICT in teaching
    • Previous experience with IEB Programmes
    • Previous experience in a high-performing international school

    ELS Teacher Zig Zag

    • Show loyalty to all facets of Zig Zag.

    • Set and mark assessment and all other forms of student evaluation.
    • Write report comments.
    • The post holder is required to undertake any other reasonable tasks that the School Head/line manager determine.

    WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

    • Able to set clear expectations and stretching goals.
    • Adaptable teaching style incorporating feedback.
    • A depth of understanding in the relevant subject area.

    • A minimum of 3 years’ experience.

    • Previous experience with IEB/CAPS/Reggio programmes.
    • Previous experience in a high-performing international school.
    • University degree in appropriate subject.
    • Certified Teaching Status/SACE.
    • Appropriate right to work.
