Africa Technology CIB provides technology support to the organisation's corporate and investment banking sectors. Activities are grouped into three areas, namely Markets, Corporate and Investment Banking. The Prime Services IT team is responsible for development, enhancement and maintenance of all Post Trade vendor and bespoke application suites that fall within the Markets business area.

As a .Net Developer / Product Engineer will you be required to:

Leading internal audit project teams, working closely with peer VPs, define audit scopes and oversee audit testing, including drafting internal audit findings and prepare draft reports for discussion with senior management. This includes a strong acumen regarding auditing methods and industry practices for Wholesale Credit Risk.
The position is a technical Credit Risk specialist as well as SME role in Internal Audit and is required require to provide assurance on:
Business Unit Credit Risk Functions: The application and the effectiveness of the retail credit risk management practices, methodologies and systems (e.g. primary risk, credit concentration risk, mandates and scale, credit portfolio management, credit risk strategy, portfolio segmentation, assessment and aggregation, impairment of financial assets, Country and Sovereign Risk, model use, and distressed restructures/forbearance).
Regulatory Framework: The provisions of the regulatory framework and in particular the bank’s system for identifying and measuring its regulatory capital and assessing the adequacy of its capital resources in relation to the bank’s credit risk exposures and established minimum ratios as well as Pillar 3 disclosures.
Sustainability Risk: Environmental, Social, and Governance.
Line management responsibilities with an adept experience in performance and talent management. Develop a high performing team by embedding formal performance development and coaching. Encourage frequent knowledge sharing between team members.
