    Network Administrator: Network & Tele-Communications - ICTD19064

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for planning, coordinating the design, performing installation and connectivity of computer network systems & components to ensure the stable operation of the organisations ICT assets.
    • Perform all operational process according to relevant policies, processes and regulation of local government.
    • Perform operational process to ensure quality of worn work, minimize mistakes and continuously improve on quality and standards.
    • Comply with governance and risk management requirements to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, processes and resolutions and minimize risk.
    • Apply financial processes to ensure compliance with financial controls as contemplated in the MFMA.
    • Perform customer service orientation to meet customer expectations.

    Job Requirements

    • Diploma in Information Technology or relevant equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification
    • CCNA or CCIE Certification
    • 3 - 5 years' experience in administering, supporting and controlling of networks, networking services and networks infrastructure
    • Knowledge of ITIL concepts including service management and service delivery and experience working within the ITIL framework for incident, problem, change or service request management
    • A valid driver's license

    • Repair tar roads to ensure safe and passable roads
    • Mix slurry according to specifications
    • Sweep and clean gutters, streets and sidewalks to prevent blockage of storm water systems
    • Load, offload, clean and store equipment and tools to prevent damage and loss to Council property
    • Safeguard site by placing appropriate roads safety signs
