    International Creditors Clerk - Pietermaritzburg

    • Our client is seeking a detail-driven International Creditors Clerk to join their team.

    Responsibilities:
    Foreign and Import Creditors

    • Process foreign supplier invoices and match against purchase orders, GRNs and shipping documentation (three-way matching)
    • Manage Advance Payment Notifications (APNs) for import prepayments
    • Reconcile foreign supplier accounts, accounting correctly for exchange rate differences, forward cover and realised/unrealised FX gains and losses
    • Liaise with clearing agents, freight forwarders and the bank on import payments, customs duties, VAT on imports and disbursement accounts
    • Identify and resolve currency or unit-of-measure mismatches between PO, GRN and invoice before payment

    Local Creditors

    • Capture, verify and process local supplier invoices and credit notes in Syspro
    • Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations and resolve queries with vendors
    • Prepare and load payment runs for authorisation, ensuring correct allocation and remittance advice is issued
    • Maintain and control supplier master data, applying internal controls when banking or identifying details change

    Reporting and Controls

    • Ensure accurate age analysis and month-end creditors reconciliation to the general ledger
    • Assist with month-end close, accruals and provisions, applying correct VAT treatment
    • Support internal and external audit requirements with complete, well-filed documentation
    • Always uphold segregation of duties and the company’s financial control framework

    Requirements:

    • Matric (Grade 12) with a relevant finance/accounting qualification (Diploma or Certificate in Bookkeeping, Accounting or Credit Management)
    • Minimum 3 years' creditors experience, including hands-on foreign creditors and import processing
    • Working knowledge of foreign exchange, import documentation and SARS import/customs requirements (APN, VAT on imports, duties)
    • Proficiency in an ERP system — Syspro experience strongly preferred
    • Solid Microsoft Excel skills (reconciliations, lookups, pivot tables)
    • Sound understanding of VAT, three-way matching and creditors controls

    Warehouse Manager - Pietermaritzburg

    • Our client is seeking a Warehouse Manager with strong problem-solving skills to join their team.

    Responsibilities:
    Inventory and Stock Control

    • Maintain accurate stock records and ensure inventory data integrity (ERP/WMS)
    • Oversee cycle counts and periodic stock takes, investigating and resolving variances
    • Manage stock levels to minimise obsolescence, shrinkage, and stockouts
    • Ensure correct FIFO/FEFO or applicable stock rotation methods are followed

    Receiving and Dispatch

    • Oversee goods receiving, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes
    • Manage picking, packing, and dispatching to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries
    • Coordinate with procurement, sales, and production to align warehouse activity with demand

    Warehouse Operations and Layout

    • Optimise warehouse layout and space utilisation for efficient workflow
    • Ensure proper handling, storage, and labelling of goods
    • Manage material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) and ensure maintenance schedules are met

    Team Leadership

    • Supervise, schedule, and develop warehouse staff
    • Set performance targets, conduct reviews, and manage discipline in line with company policy and the Labour Relations Act
    • Foster a productive, accountable, and safety-conscious team culture

    Health, Safety and Compliance

    • Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993) and internal SHE standards
    • Conduct risk assessments, enforce safe working practices, and maintain housekeeping standards
    • Ensure equipment operators are licensed and certified

    Reporting and Continuous Improvement

    • Report on key metrics (accuracy, throughput, on-time dispatch, stock losses)
    • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 qualification
    • Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Warehouse Management (advantageous)
    • 5+ years' warehouse experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory/management role
    • Experience with ERP/WMS systems (e.g. Syspro, SAP)
    • Strong inventory and stock control knowledge
    • Leadership and people management ability
    • Sound knowledge of OHS legislation
    • Computer literacy (MS Office, ERP systems)
    • Valid forklift license advantageous

    Responsibilities

    • Design, set up and optimise production lines to improve efficiency, throughput and reduce downtime
